Completely self-contained and private carriage house on the water on small, privately owned island in St. Margaret's Bay (Atlantic Ocean). The island is now connected to the mainland by a small causeway giving constant road access. Sheltered anchorage and spectacular views of the bay, especially in the evening. Crystal clear waters, great for swimming, fishing, kayaking or just watching the loons, ducks, eagles or sailboats go by. Built to very high standards in 2005. Empty-nest owners live in main house. Loft bedroom with double bed and half bath upstairs. Full bath, kitchen, bar, and living area on main level. Small deck and separate entrance. Access to dock and waterfront.
Downtown Halifax is 25 minutes away, Peggy's Cove 15 minutes, Airport 40 minutes, Chester 25 minutes. Several great golf courses nearby.
Sailing, boat excusions and picnics can be accommodated on 32 foot sailboat at extra cost. Please inquire.
