There is such a thing as too good to be true. Pictures do not do this home justice - the sun shines upon the beautiful porch and dock from sun up till sundown. Inside and out you will find comfortable seating for all. Kitchen is so spacious and the bedrooms are comfy. Spectacular views from every window. We did a little bit of site seeing and had so many plans of visiting nearby DC, Baltimore, etc., but chose to stay put as there was no way we could be any happier than at our vacation rental. PS - anything you could possibly need or want is within a few miles, grocery, seafood, fast food, retail stores, gift shops, etc. yet you are tucked away in a quiet, tranquil, paradise. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation. We will will be sure to return year after year.

This was the first time I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home. Obviously, the best part was the incredible views of the river! But some other things.... the floor plan of the home is very open and cozy, perfect for a warm family vacation. The kitchen is brand new and much nicer than any of the other homes I found on VRBO. Finally, the Manager is a total sweetheart! I will come back again soon!

Disappointed

Condition of property was not as represented on website photos -- worn, in disrepair, needs painting, unclean. Kitchen supplies were old, pots unusable, linens not washed. Property could be beautiful with a little TLC. Would not recommend in current condition.

Owner response:Thank you for your feedback. I always give my phone number to my customers so they can contact me if anything is wrong. I repeatedly attempted to contact this customer to see if everything is okay and she finally responded after a few days that everything is great. My cleaning person has always offered to come back to clean the home if she missed a few spots so if there was really an issue, all this customer had to do was call and I would've taken care of it. In order to avoid this problem in the future, I have hired the Maid Pro cleaning company to handle all of my future cleanings. They offer a cleaning guarantee. I have also never heard any complaints about the cooking equipment but a new set has been purchased. I speak with all of my guests after they leave and none of them complained about the condition of the home. A new set of photos were taken and uploaded in February so I have a hard time believing that the home has become worn down in one month.

My company has been sending me to Annapolis at random times throughout the year for the last 7 years and I have been jumping from home to home because I just couldn't find the one that was right for me. I have been coming to this home for over 4 years and I still can't get enough. The owners are constantly working on improving the home. Every year, they seem to have new items and renovations throughout the home. From the first time that I visited, they completely renovated the kitchen, built a new bathroom in the upstairs, changed the furniture, painted the whole house, and bought new kayaks and canoes. The thing that sets these owners apart from the rest is that they are very good at customer service. They always respond to emails quickly and they always do whatever it takes to make their house perfect for future guests. I can't wait for my next visit this year!

great waterfront home

Great setting with wonderful views of the river! Home has a very spacious and open floor plan which was great for relaxing, entertaining and just enjoying the views! The owners were always available to answer any questions and assist in making our stay perfect. We were not able to use the kayaks due to the weather but we hope to use on our next visit. Home is located out from the center of town but close enough to access everything...restaraunts, Naval Academy downtown Annapolis or Washington DC. Will definitely plan on staying here again.

I love the place a lot. My friend and I were there for a week and this was one of the best places we have ever rented. The view is great, right behind the house there is a huge dock which is awesome! It also has a huge porch for the people who love to enjoy the weather outside on a good sunny day. The best part about the porch is that it is very private. House is pretty clean and big with many rooms. I think it is a great place to spend an entire weekend there! If your looking forward to relax for a week this is the place to be.

Great Waterfront Vacation Home

A few of the first things that I immediately noticed about the house - it was spacious, clean, and had a great patio/balcony area right next to the water. The rooms were always sunny and made the home feel very comfortable - the listing photos are pretty accurate. The property was well-maintained and the kitchen/etc looked very modern. There is a large deck area behind the house that overlooks the water, and is perfect for having meals outside or enjoying the weather with friends. The porch swing and hot tub are a plus. We used the small dock (a part of the property) mainly to go out rowing in the water, but many other activities are possible. Additionally, Washington DC was not very far away from the home. The owner was easy to work with, and I would recommend this property to friends.

This place is wonderful. From the spacious interior to the large deck in the back, this place is great for a little get away. There is plenty to do from grilling, kayaking, canoeing, and much more. It is very clean and everything you need is there. I will definitely go back!

I recently stayed at this residence for a couple of night with a few close friends, and as soon as we walked through the door we knew we were going to have a very nice and cozy stay. The view was spectacular to begin with, the house was very clean, and every appliance one could need was made available (unlike some homes that lock up their cabinets and pantry). We all had a bed to sleep on and what got my attention the most was that it was very well furnished, and the furniture was not old or falling apart!! The entire house provided us with everything we needed to ensure our stay was wonderful. I will DEFINITELY be staying at this home next time i want to take a trip to the area!

This house is perfect! The location was terrific, the host was gracious and helpful and the house had everything we needed for a great getaway. The view from the deck is breathtaking and tranquil. The picnic tables and grill made for an excellent barbecue and having a charming, comfortable living room adjacent to the deck entrance was very convenient. I highly recommend this house to all vacation seekers and would definitely return someday!

Beautiful Getaway House!!!

I have stayed at this beautiful and spacious home multiple times for different occasions throughout the past couple of years and it never gets old. My family has stayed this home not only for relaxing getaways, but for family reunions, New Year’s celebrations and birthday weekends as well. From a first glance this home seems extremely secluded, but don’t let it’s exterior fool you! This home has tons to offer due to its great lay-out and has something for all ages. The best part of this house is the multi-level backyard deck overlooking the river. From relaxing on the bench swing to the hot tub or simply sunbathing on the pier it’s as good as it gets. I was also able to go canoeing (provided by the home owner) with my family and was able to enjoy the beauty of the river. We took full advantage of the fully stocked kitchen along with the /BBQ grills outside. The grocery stores, restaurants and other convenient stores are minutes away. Also, this home is close to Annapolis mall (great shopping) and historic Annapolis harbor, which I highly recommend everyone visit. You can also visit Washington DC, which isn’t too far away (around 30 minutes I believe), for more sight see-ing. Usually we find something to complain about amenity wise, but not at this home as it surpassed our needs! Spring and Summer are coming up and I can’t wait to plan our next family getaway!!! This home is as cozy as it gets and truly is a home away from home!

The Perfect Annapolis Rental

Large open home right on the water, great location! The perfect layout for entertaining, we had an amazing time, enjoying water activities, grilling off the deck and enjoying the view. The property was very clean, and everything we needed was already there waiting for us. The owners are very kind and responsive to our questions about the property and the area. I highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a waterfront rental in the Annapolis area!

Relaxation, relaxation, and relaxation- the comforts of home while being away on vacation. Big spacious bedrooms, living room that is huge with a killer view and kitchen that is unmatched. The view from the decks are incomparable, seclusion that is unbelievable and large waterfront view right at the back steps. Who could ask for more? Perfect location close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and many family activities (kayaking, fishing and taking in the awesome view!) Didnt want to leave.
