Large Families will love the enormous dorm bedroom that can easily sleep six. Backing up to CHINCOTEAGUE BAY--you will be in awe of spectacular views and sunsets that can be viewed from the back deck, SCREENED-IN PORCH, or one of the walk-out PORCHES off the two upstairs bedrooms. A great retreat for a family or private romantic getaway.
Just a mile or so from downtown shops and restaurants, and an easy three-to-four-mile bike ride to Assateague Island where the ponies and beaches are located. Also just a hop and a skip from boat, bike and moped rentals. A perfect place for everyone in the family.
This home includes a newly renovated completely-equipped kitchen, cable televisions throughout with DVD players, stereo, fireplace, barbecue grill, washer/dryer, lots of parking and fabulous open space inside and out.
Available for weekly or weekend rentals. During the summer season, rentals are from Friday to Friday.

My family has been coming to Chincoteague Island for years, but this is the first time we've rented a house. We came to celebrate my father's 90th birthday with 4 generations of family. The house was perfect for us: child-friendly, simply and beautifully decorated, lovely location on the marsh and looking out to the bay, great for kayaking, watching sunsets, listening to owls at night or looking at the stars. The long dock/pier was the best part. I could go on and on. The location is private, but close to restaurants, the beach, bike rentals, etc. The owner is very accessible for answering questions. We will definitely be back!
