This comforable, spacious family home is located in prestigious Shipyard Plantation on a picturesque lagoon overlooking hole number two of Shipyard golf course. The house sits on an acre of land surrounded by stately trees and azaleas. All rooms are located on one level; no stairs to climb. A wooden entry ramp accommodates a walker or wheelchair. Vaulted ceilings in the living room, kitchen and master bath conveys an open and airy atmosphere enhanced by tall glass windows and sky lights throughout.
The spacious master bedroom has a large sliding glass door where you can step out onto a wooden deck overlooking the large shady back yard, lagoon and golfcourse. The roomy white-tiled master bath contains a jecuzzi tub, separate shower, skylight, vaulted ceiling and walk-in closet. Both the queen bedroom and twin bedroom each have tiled bathrooms with airy skylights. Each bedroom has a TV and the twin bedroom has a DVD/VCR.
The kitchen is fully furnished with a dining area that will seat 4 and bar with stools. The formal dining room seats 8. From both dining areas, you can step through sliding glass doors onto a wooden deck with table and chairs for outside dining and lounging and views of the large backyard, lagoon and golfcourse.
The light, airy living room has TV, DVD, VCR and a stereo system with CD, radio and cassette player. A large assortment of books that line the shelves are available for your reading pleasure. Bird watching is a favorite pastime with a bird feeder and bird baths in the backyard. NO SMOKING AND NO PETS PLEASE.
The beach is a 5 minute drive and for Shipyard guests, there is a Shipyard owners parking lot next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and
adjacent to the new Shipyard owners beach club. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas and a gas grill are available for your use located in the home's 2 car garage. For the miles and miles of bike paths on the island, six bikes in excellent condition await you. Shipyard alone has some of the most beautiful and safe bike paths you will find on the island.
Coligny Plaza is within easy access from Shipyard with more than 60 shops and restaurants.
