2 bedroom rural detached converted barn set in the small hamlet of Thorncliffe. On the edge of the peak district. Fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer and washing machine, kitchen table and 4 stools, . living room with dining table. Bathroom with shower. Travel cot available .
Off road parking. Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon hall, The Roaches, Buxton, Bakewell and Manifold Valley all within easy reach. Owners also live in Thorncliffe within a few minutes from the barn.

Beautiful little cottage in the heart of the Peak District

Warm and cosy cottage and we spent a lot more time than planned because of the continual rain (it's Britain!). The location is excellent; close to good walks and good pub/restaurants. Recommend the Three Horseshoes pub for food on the Buxton Road and also the Reform Inn just a walk away.

Immaculate and perfect!

This was a beautiful small cottage/barn in the beautiful English countryside, lovingly restored from an old barn! It was perfect for our needs and slept our small family of four just fine. The beds were cozy and the shower was hot. Our host was a short distance away and helped to guide us in.

Clean barn by the water race

Very very clean which we really appreciate. However it was hard to be warm enough downstairs and hard to be cool enough to sleep upstairs. The furniture was very basic. The kitchen was very well supplied and the curtains and pottery were lovely.

Quaint, Cozy Lodging, Great Use of Space

Spent a night here with my family on a week-long trip around the UK. Wish we had more time to spend at the Woodview Barn, we really liked the space, the privacy and the flexibility to stay in or eat out. The location is a bit out of the way, but that was one of the things we liked about it. There's a pub nearby, otherwise you should be ready to curl up with a good book, to watch a bit of television or play games with your family. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small but nice, and the bunk beds were great for our kids. We stayed in 6 different lodgings on our 9 night vacation, our kids both voted the Legoland Hotel in Windsor as their favorite stay, but my vote went to the Woodview Barn.
