On the ground level is a four-car garage (with bicycles and stainless steel barbecue for your enjoyment) , and a 32-foot covered patio (with hammock and 12 seat dining table) opening up to water frontage with 100-foot concrete dock. A perfect spot for relaxing, barbecuing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling (including for lobster), and fishing. Grill your catch right here.
On the main level are two bedrooms, each with queen-sized bed, two all tiled, full-sized bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, dining and living rooms. The master bedroom and the living room have full-width sliding glass doors opening onto a 32-foot, fully-furnished covered porch for leisurely island lounging in a swing and rocking chairs and for relaxing outdoor dining. Off the porch is a furnished open sundeck for sunbathing and, in the cool of the evening, viewing the legendary Key West sunsets.
The playful loft, accessible from the living room by stair, has a sleeping area with two double beds, and features a fabulous two work station study to set up your computers with high-speed internet access, or to do other "business" activities in a fun atmosphere. There are three TV sets, each complete with satellite hookup and DVD player. This home is meant to be enjoyed. Professionally-decorated with island-style furniture, furnishings and accessories.
Our home can be reached by car via US-1 South, or by air via Key West International Airport, from there by taxi or rental car via US-1 North. There is plenty to do for everyone of all ages. For water sports enthusiasts there is swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, lobstering, deep sea fishing, reef fishing, flats fishing, and just plain exploring the many spectacular coral reefs just offshore. Discounted charter packages and boat rentals etc. are available at dozens of nearby marinas and dive shops from above Sugarloaf Key all the way down to Key West.
Land lovers can enjoy sunning, walking, jogging, and biking. For the ultimate thrill, there is skydiving right here on Sugarloaf Key, less than one mile away. For all others, there are parks, state beaches, pristine wildlife preserves and other national treasures nearby. And then there is Key West, an artistic and romantic place like no other in this world, former playground of Jimmy Buffet and Ernest Hemingway. I wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your beautifully decorated and very comfortable home on Sugarloaf Key last week. We had excellent weather with sunshine every day. Coming from Maine in December, that's a great bonus. Having the chance to see the numerous photos of your handsome family that grace your home, I thought you might appreciate having one of from at least one family that rented your house. It's attached.

First of all we'd like to say thank you for renting to us. It was one of our most memorable vacations, in part to your lovely house. We have to say that you have one of the most beautiful spots we have seen. The stars at night from the deck, the palm trees swaying, and the sunsets were remarkable. Every morning we took advantage of your bikes to explore the neighborhood. We definitely would rent from you again if we ever choose Key West as our yearly vacation trip.

We LOVED the house and hope to come back next year! (if not sooner!) It was perfect in every way! I've adopted it as my "place" to go to in my mind this year to relieve stress!! We are retired military and have traveled a lot over the years, and never know what to expect. BUT, I can tell you without hesitation, that we have never stayed in a more beautiful place! Thanks for sharing your home with us. We especially enjoyed all the family pictures! It looks like your family enjoys themselves as much as we do! That made us feel right at home!
