  My family and I stayed in this Rio Mar property for a week. The Rio Mar property itself is quite nice. It's a fair distance from the villa to the beach area, but parking is free in the 'Beach Club' area so it worked out fine. The thing we liked best about this location is that it is really a great base of operations to explore the El Yunque Rainforest, which is an amazing place. (The climb to the Cloud Forest is challenging, but not to be missed.) The villa itself is quite spacious; it was quite comfortable for my wife and I and our 4 adult children. The villa is 'well lived in' but everything was quite clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed that the first floor patio walk-out opens up right into a big and beautfully landscaped lawn area. Jorge and Maritza were very attentive and gracious hosts. Even though we found them at random on VRBO, the dynamic between us was very much as if we were renting from my Puerto Rican cousin. :-)

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

  We loved it. Six of us, all family members, stayed for a week at this villa. The location was perfect, near everywhere we wanted to go, but at the same time secluded, surrounded by peace and quiet (to get around you need a car) and inside RioMar resort complex (what we wanted) The villa ifself was very spacious, it can easily fit 10 people, and very well stocked, even have a washer and dryer. The owners were very helpful and best of all the price of the rental was just perfect. We highly recomend it. One more note, if you want to taste real puertorrican food at very affordable price visit Oasis Cafe. (location: from the villa get down the road, to the main road (US 3), make a right at US 3 and in 10 seconds you will see it. It will be in your right side (beside the souvenirs shops). Not fancy, but a very clean place that cooks tasty food.

  I had a terrific time with my family (11 people total) for 6 days at the villa. The owners greeted us on the first day at the villa. We had no problems whatsoever regarding the villa and its facilities. You need transportation to go to the beach and swimming pool as well as to the tennis courts (fee required to play tennis and golf). The villa was clean, in excellent condition with manicured surroundings. Would stay here again without hesitation.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  This was our second stay at Rio Mar Beach Resort, 2 yrs ago we stay at a different villa which was not worth what we paid to rent for the week. This villa on the other hand, was well worth the money! It was very spacious and well maintained it had everything you needed for a good vacation stay. When we arrived at the villa the owner was there to greet us and gave us a run down of everything in the villa to make our stay pleasant. He recommended a few places to eat nearby and told us if we needed anything during our stay to give him a call. He made it very easy to book the week and was very accommodating. Over all, I would definitely recommend a vacation stay at Villa Maritza!

  We had the best vacation! We have been to Puerto Rico many times, and this past visit, was simply the best! Jorge's beach villa is a fantastic place to relax, have fun, entertain, and simply enjoy yourself. It is very clean, spacious, relaxing, and fully accommodating! Nice beds, bathrooms, kitchen, patio, stereo, and atmosphere. You will not want to leave! I can't wait until our next visit to Puerto Rico (i.e. Jorge's Villa)! May I also add that Jorge is a great guy!
