MOUNTAIN LAUREL CHALET: Located in a peaceful wooded mountain setting less than 10 minutes from the Alpine Village of HELEN, Georgia. Our spacious chalet is also located near UNICOI LAKE, UNICOI STATE PARK, and ANNA RUBY FALLS.
Our home is ideal for a couple or for a small group. Very Private - yet convenient to local dining, shopping, sightseeing and outdoor activities. Treat yourself to the HOT TUB or cuddle up by the FIREPLACE. Whatever you like, it's all here waiting for you to relax and enjoy!
For hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, the chalet is less than 1 mile from McCLURE CREEK and the TRAY MOUNTAIN WILDERNESS AREA of the Chattahoochee National Forest and less than 6 miles from the APPALACHIAN TRAIL on Tray Mountain. Also located nearby is BRASSTOWN BALD, Georgia's highest mountain at 4784 feet in elevation. On clear days, you can see 4 states from the mountaintop Visitor Center: Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina, including a view of the Great Smoky Mountains!
