Welcome to our beautiful home! Our townhouse is located in the town of Crested Butte within walking distance of everything you will need to spend a long weekend or an entire season! There are so many activities year round - from relaxing on our spacious deck to downhill skiing! The unit is centrally located - the heart of downtown is a quick 5 minute walk away or a 3 minute shuttle ride to the ski slopes. The school playground is just across the street and there are two parks right around the corner. Want to shop or go out to eat? Just walk acoss the main street and you are in the middle of the action in town! You cannot find a better place to spend your time!!
The unit has hardwood floors, a gas fireplace and in-floor radiant heat. The two bedrooms sleep 6 total with an additional double bed in the loft (that's 8 people in new beds - no pullout sofa!!) There are 2 full baths and a kitchen set up for gourmet cooking (the kitchen has anything and everything you need!!) The balcony has beautiful views with a gas and charcoal BBQ with seating for 6 - perfect for relaxing!
The unit has a full size washer/dryer with lots of extra linens. There is satellite TV in the master and family room. The master and loft each have a TV with DVD! The guest room has a TV that can be hooked up to a travel or regular DVD player! Plug in and enjoy! The unit is stocked with family fun games just in case of a rainy day! Family friendly!!
You cannot find a better deal in the town of Crested Butte!

The house was furnished as though it was someone's home, not a rental; wood floors, nice appliances, plenty of quality linens, nice a/v equipment, and clean. We've been burnt at so many ski resort properties that turned out to be dumps, not living up to their description. That was not the case here, everything was as shown and described on the website. The location is across a somewhat busy street from the main part of town, but that was not an issue as there was a pedestrian crosswalk and 3 way stop. We didn't have a car and that was no problem either as the market was close, all the restaurants were within an easy walking distance, and the free shuttle got us to the slopes and back. A nice bonus is that some of the nordic trails were right across the street. Renting was no hassle as the owners were very professional, meeting all of their obligations including promptly returning our security deposit. I would highly recommend this listing, and would rent it again when returning to Crested Butte.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This home was immaculate and ready to move in. Our week was filled with walking around the town and neighborhoods as well as various mountain hikes. There are so many local activities that we had to stop and choose each day to be sure we were getting to do all that we possibly could. The home was furnished with everything to cook a full meal, but who wants to cook on vacation? There are wonderful restaurants and the local folks are very friendly and helpful. The owner communicates rapidly and answers all questions . It was just a wonderful experience all around. We will return.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
