  Poipu Kapili is a very beautiful, quiet, deluxe, traditional Hawaiian condominium complex. The grounds consists of lush tropical gardens, a wonderful quiet pool, tennis courts, and even an herb garden to use in cooking. The ocean is right across a lightly traveled road, so you can watch whales, dolphins, divers, and boats right from your windows, the lawn, or your patio. A seawall across from the units is a nightly gathering spot for sunset watchers. The owner of the unit thought of everything! Not only was the condo beautifully kept and furnished (with even a better view than in the pictures), it was also full of wonderful extras - games, tennis raquets, lush beach towels, cooking staples, lusious lotions, binoculars, ice chests, hair dryers, books, etc, etc, etc. If you rent this condo, make sure you follow the tradition of helping to build her "resource books" - these are fun binders of restaurant and sightseeing reviews started by Cynthia but built on continually by the guests who stay in the unit.- what a great help and also very fun to read!

  The condo on Popui Kapili could not have been any better! The condo had everything we needed and in excellent condition. The location was perfect. We could sit in the front yard, see and hear the ocean, and watch the sun set every night. I would definitely not only come back here but would rent other units from the owner in different locations.

  We recently spent a week in January at Poipu Kapili with our dear friends and enjoyed every minute! As soon as we walked into our unit, we felt very comfortable and right at home. Everything about the townhome is tastefully done and since we went with another couple, we were pleasantly surprised to find both bedrooms very spacious. We also like to cook and the kitchen was completely equipped to do so. In addition, lots of extras were available to us including tennis rackets(courts on premises)and boogie boards which we used almost daily. The location was ideal---walking distance to the beach and shopping centers. Before our trip, the owner answered all of my questions and gave me so much helpful information. In closing, as a former member of the travel industry and having very high standards when choosing properties to experience the ultimate vacation, Poipu Kapili fits the bill in every way possible. We appreciate all you did for us, Cynthia, and look forward to returning in the near future.

  We were at #54 in October 5th for 6 nights. Really lovely condo plenty of room and really comfy. Really need the air conditioner at night because it gets really balmy. It has everything you could need. The pool is great very private, we were the only people there most of the time. Short walk to the Sheraton and Poipu beach. Great to sleep listening to the ocean at night. We would go back again if we stay in the Poipu area. Great Places to eat close by, The Beach House, Merrimans upstairs and also downstairs cafe. There is also a Mexican resturant that was also really good in the same shopping area but can't remember the name. We went to Costco on the first day and loaded up with supplies (saves a lot of money). We also went to living foods in the Poipu shopping area, prices are quite high but I hear the sandwiches are good. Sad to leave :( Thanks Cynthia for renting out your lovely home we'll be back.

  This is a 5 star property that truly makes you immediately feel at home. The views are spectacular and the upgrades are beautiful. You may find like us that you actually want to stay in and cook! Be aware that if you watch tv in the master bedroom, you may have to turn it up to hear over the roar of the ocean! The owner is very attentive to details and was patient with all of our questions. It was clean and very organized. I would highly recommend staying here!

  I took my wife, son (16) and nephew (20) for a seven night vacation to this paradise condo. All the promises made were kept by the owner. We had a lovely time spending time on the patio, by the pool, on the beaches and exploring the island. The BeachHouse restaurant now has lunch, Duke's was an experience that we all enjoyed (great t-shirts) and Shipwreck Beach in front of the Hilton was best for body and boogie boarding. We took the personal ATV trip with Justin from Kipu Ranch. We saw wild pigs, ate passion fruit right off the trees, swam in a waterfall pool and swung out on the same rope into a river that Indiana Jones did! Loved the North Shore (Princeville), The Tunnels Beach and Bubba's Burgers. The condo comes with an excellent guidebook and guest comment book worth reading. It gives alot of helpful tips. Booking the room was very easy. The owner is very organized and professional in all phases of the process. The only negative would be a small one; we are all still suffering from a bit of "Polynesian Paralysis". I have to stop calling everyone "Bro'" Aloha!

  Fabulous location for access to what Poipu has to offer, which is a lot. Activities close at hand include walking, biking, snorkeling, eating, shopping, surfing,sunning and swimming. There was also an occasional local islander that came to fish with a net on the rocks in front of the rental that was fun to watch. The interior of the unit was also very nice as I especially enjoyed the design of the unit and island decor. It was just simple and very well done. Also clean, nice and well maintained. The photos accurately showed the unit and its amentities and kitchen supplied well. One wish for older, remote challenged people, is a guide on using the TV remote would help. Luckliy we had my daughter to bail us out when we got stuck somewhere in the buttons that we didn't want to be and luckily we didn't turn it on much. We really appreciated the activity tips and where to eat that the owner provided. Beach House was the best and we all thought Brenneke's needed some work on preparing fish dinners, a real disappointment for what it cost. Also I would pass on the Shrimp Shack in Waimea, way to greasy. The Napali coast trip was the highlight of the trip, but the girls (20 yrs old) said the zipline with Kauai Outfitters was so-so. Again everything we wanted was close by and I would definitely return to this property.

  My husband and I stayed in Poipu Kapili #54 while celebrating our anniversary. It was everything we could have hoped for. The condo is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The location is great! Just a short walk to a swimming beach, but facing the ocean with fantastic views. Close to shopping and restaurants. We would definately recommend this condo to others and would stay there again!

  WOW, this is one perfect condo. Excellent location, full ocean view and a patio that you just don't want leave. Every aspect of this unit lends to complete relaxation. We travel to Kauai once or twice a year and have stayed in a lot of beautiful places on the island. This condo was our favorite! The a/c units in the bedroom worked very well, although the weather was very good all week with fairly low humidity and strong trade winds prevailed. The renovated Sheraton restaurant, a short 5 minute walk, is excellent. In fact we started the week at the Rum Fire, it was so good we had drinks & dinner there every evening but prepared our own Hawaiian breakfasts to utilize the outdoor patio and wonderful views. Cynthia is great to work with. We will go back ASAP... KRS/ Tucson, AZ

  Our stay at poi Pu kapili 54 was very relaxing. Clean spacious condo,a nice quiet pool to BBQ by and swim in. What more does one need.
