With a magnificent view of the waterway from every room this townhouse decorated in a nautical style awaits you. The King bedroom with a full bath and the living area; also with a full bath, are located on the first floor. Access to the large rear deck is from both the bedroom and living room.
The second floor consists of the master bedroom and guest bedroom. The master bedroom with a King-size bed and full private bath has a comfy sitting area with a sofa and desk. The guest bedroom with 2 twin beds and a trundle bed also has a private bath, this room sleeps up to 4 guests. Both bedrooms have a private balcony. Also on the second floor outside the bedrooms is a relaxing sitting area.
The pool is directly across the front of the villa and there is a 3 minute walk to the beach.
Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center has 25 tennis courts, many have lights for night play and 3 golf courses at your fingertips. There are also three 18 hole golf courses with-in a 1/2 mile of the front door. It's a wonderful vacation experience, one you will enjoy returning to year after year!

- Kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards can be launched from the properties back door. Fish for Fish for citation redfish, tarpon, stripers (rockfish), trout, bluefish, flounder, black drum and a host of other species in Hilton Head's huge lagoons. These fish have become landlocked in the lagoon system and grow to incredible sizes.

We just returned from our second year at 2 Hickory Cove. We have been visiting the island for over 18 years with our family and we couldn't be happier with this villa. It is closer to the beach than the other places that we have stayed. The walk to the beach is very short and that is a real plus. The villa is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen allows you to make meals at home (we like to have that choice - even though there are great restaurants on the island). The washer and dryer is very handy, especially with the many beach trips we took. We had 7 of us this year and had plenty of room. The pool is very close by. The owner was VERY helpful to us and the rental process was very easy. Take a look at the pictures - the condo is very nicely decorated and has been updated. We would recommend this villa to family and friends and we will definitely be returning again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The location of this villa (2 mins from the beach, and across the street from the pool) made the decision to stay here easy. The owner responds quickly to e-mail inquiries and facilitated each of our requests, making our stay a breeze. Certainly a tremendous value for the price charged.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This was our first visit to Hilton Head, and we found this rental to be even more comfortable and spacious than the pictures show. Bedrooms are very large, beds very comfy, rooms with plenty of light. Kitchen was well stocked, with a full laundry room. Every room was super clean and well maintained. The outdoor deck facing the lagoon was a great place to have coffee in the morning, watching the herons and other birds and wildlife. We found the walk to the beautiful beach to be a comfortable 5 minute walk ( 2 or 3 mins.on bikes!) on a nicely marked and paved trail. The pool is even closer, just across the street, but not too close or noisy to disrupt the wonderful, peaceful scenery that surrounds the property. Also minutes away are the general store, tennis courts, and bike rentals, all of which we used and found to be great. A short car ride away are grocery stores, pharmacy, and many wonderful restaurants. (But we really enjoyed just walking to the Dune House Grill to eat right out by the beach at sunset!) We would recommend renting bikes for the week, as there are many beautiful trails to enjoy in Palmetto Dunes. We had several questions and concerns ( it being our first visit) and found the owners to be extremely helpful and accomodating. Directions were excellent, and all descriptions accurate. Our family agreed this was one of our favorite rentals and one of the most restful, enjoyable vacations we've had!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
