Aloha,
This beautifully furnished beachfront one bedroom two bath, thrid floor condominium is located in the only condominium unit in Haleiwa . Haleiwa Surf is the only beachfront condominium property in Haleiwa, lies on the cool and breezy shores of Historical Haleiwa Town.
This condo has a beautiful ocean view from the kitchen, living room, and lanai and your views from the 3rd floor, steps away from the beach and is safe for swimming pretty much year round due to the protective reef out front. You can go snorkeling to see the multitude of different colored tropical fish. Enjoy romantic walks on the fine sandy beach to the beach park close by, where they did film shoots of Baywatch. Your Haleiwa Surf There are two condominium buildings on the property, one is closer to the beachfront than the other, still giving it beautiful ocean views, with a very short walk across the lawn, and then you are on the beautiful beach.(WI-FI)
Every day of your visit will be filled with the Aloha spirit. Sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful sunsets, beautiful tropical plants and trees, and the calming tropical ocean views, from the inlaid lanai. Take a brief walk across the manicured lawn to the Tropical Ocean and pristine, wide, sandy beach. Have the great experience of a barbecue at sunset, barbecue grills and picnic benches are located beachfront.
Fine dining, art galleries, and shopping are three blocks away. Haleiwa is the first and most charming town on the North Shore. Not long after setting out from the Honolulu Airport, you are cruising through a quiet countryside of pineapple fields, entering Haleiwa Town in about 50 minutes. Stop by Matsumoto Shave Ice, famous since 1951. Go hiking through the parks or walk along the boat harbor from your condominium beach access (lightly lit along walkways after sundown) to Haleiwa Joe's for great dining. Or, walk to Chun's Market - a two minute walk for DVD rentals for a quiet night, while enjoying the cool warm tropical air.
Most beaches within Haleiwa have picnic tables and showers. Waimea Bay has waves that can reach 25 feet in the winter, but in summer and spring months its calm, turquoise-blue bay offers one of the world's greatest swimming and snorkeling areas. Sunset Beach offers another great spot for swimming, examining tide pools, and collecting shells in the summer.
Pipeline is always a must to check out. For many experiences, peaceful moments and beautiful sights, your stay at Haleiwa Surf Condominium will be a time you will always remember and want to come back to.

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 6 nights in August 2010. Having lived in Hawaii in the past, I was pleasantly surprised we never saw any bugs of any kind inside the condo (geckos on the lania but that's just a cool aside) and we adhered to the keeping food in bags, refrigerated, etc...! The condo was clean and met our needs. Nice to have snorkel masks available, no fins but honestly, I'm glad I had my water shoes because places like "Sharks's Cove" (Pupukea Beach) would have been difficult walking without shoes. Anyways, everyone at the complex was friendly, including Todd, the manager. The view from Lania is worth the price of admission. My only gripe is the bathroom and kitchen are long overdue for a renovation. We added a cutting board and plastic wrap to the kitchen menagerie but serving bowls are needed. We shopped for groceries at the commissary and ate in most days. There is a Wal-mart in Waipuha and of course, a Foodland near Sunset Beach. The market in Haleiwa was expensive overall but sale items were reasonable. The condo is a LONG walk to Haleiwa town and one I would not do at night. We snorkeled at a different beach every morning and then visited area attractions in the afternoon. The condo living area gets warm in the late afternoon (it faces west) and the fans help tremendously but it was nice to sleep with A/C at night. Giovanni's shrimp truck across from McDonald's was delicious and we had the mahi mahi plate lunch at Ted's Bakery near sunset beachh. Both plate lunches were large enough to share between two people. I would stay at this condo again.
Owner response:Thank you for your comments and so glad you will return and while in the condo you enjoyed having a nice clean condo with the majority of your needs met. Your correct we do not have an updated kitchen or bathroom, however as mentioned its very clean and suitable and offered at a very reasonable priced for beachfront and one of the few that has a/c in the bedroom. We try to provide for the needs of all of our guest and from the other comments you can see we have not had any complaints and strive to make all happy so with that said we will pick up some serving bowls and we look forward to your return.

Beautifully appointed condo; immaculate. It's obvious someone cares for this unit. The photos are accurate. This is away from the bustle of Honolulu and well worth the scenic drive to get there. The surroundings are quiet, and the beach is just not crowded--it's wonderful. The property is located a short drive from the Botanical Garden and the North Shore. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Would recommend it to anyone. The unit is on the 2nd floor, which is great to be able to see out onto the ocean. The caretaker of the complex is friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the sealife. Talking with him adds a personal touch to the visit. Make sure you allow time to wander in historic Haleiwa town and check out the Thai food trailer in town.

I can highly recomend this property, from the moment you arrive you get a feeling that this is one of those special places that instantly puts you in a relaxed holiday mode. Tasefully decorated, clean with a touch a touch of traditional Hawaiian decor throughout. Equiped with everything you need to relax and unwind. Set in a perfect location, enjoy snorkelling, sunbaking, beautifull scenery, located easy walk to town, and local beaches. I enjoyed this property so much, I extended my stay....I highly recomend this property.

The owner advised us to stop at Costco on the way to the condo. Great advice. The condo view was unbeliveable. The cabinets & closets were stocked snorkle gear,(we had packed our own),blow up floats, ice chest, beach chairs & umbrellas & the list goes on and on. No wonder the owner didn't list all thats there, would require a book(plenty of books there too).-Some of our best snorkling was right off the condo's beach. For the wife and I, it was a wonderful location, near great hiking trails, close to all north shore points of interest (including our first ocean shark tank adventure).
Owner response:So glad you enjoyed the condo and snorkling is so nice out front because of the Natural Reef..see ya soon.

We lucked out and made this booking the day before check-in. Stuart was very helpful and accommodating to make everything work for us. Great location away from all the crowds, but still close enough to experience all that the North Shore has to offer. The beach was almost empty during the week which made for some peaceful outings to snorkel and watch the waves. Just a short walk up the beach towards the public beach park we found a sea turtle resting on the sand (the one time we leave the camera too). Hope to be back soon!
