IT'S A SHORE THING........located just 100 ft from a 4 mile stretch of white sand beach, the'Captain's Quarters' offers a very private newly renovated apartment nestled in the palms. This is a 1200 sq ft apartment plus screened and open decks. Enjoy the indoor river- stone shower, or the very large outdoor hot/cold shower overlooking tropical lush surroundings. French doors in each bedroom open onto the screened deck. The kitchen has marble couter tops and new appliances with outdoor gas and charcoal BBQs.
WE HAVE SAND IN THE EYES, AND THE EARS AND THE NOSE AND SAND IN THE HAIR, AND SAND BETWEEN THE TOES......WELCOME TO THE ISLAND.
The best thing about North Captiva is that it is good for your soul; where world-class fishing, boating, shelling, and sunsets await you. North Captiva is a true barrier island and is separated from the mainland by a 20-minute boat ride. No cars are allowed on the island and transportation is by golf cart or walking. Guests at the beach house enjoy club membership (pools, tennis courts, bath house, fitness room, children's play ground, and basketball court) and use of a four seater golf cart.

Most of the island is a wildlife sanctuary and our beach is an unbroken ribbon of white sand where some of the best shelling in North America is to be found.
Enjoy the world's best Tarpon and Snook fishing. Fire up the barbecue and cook your catch under the stars, or enjoy one of the Islands fine restaurants.
Exploring is a favorite past time, try the uninhabited island of Cayo Costa, have lunch at Cabbage Key (a turn-of-the-century hotel), or shop on Sanibel or Boca Grande. Find your own personal little bit of paradise, there is lots out there. We can provide the transportation.
