Adorable Flathead Lake Cottage!
5/5

The BEST time at the BEST place!

My Family (husband, two children, mom, dad, sister) all stayed at the cottage for the Fourth of July. We had such a good time. We have family in Polson and found the location of the cottage to be very convenient. We also went to Glacier Park and had an amazing time. The Cottage fit us all very nicely. There is a great restaurant (with awesome fried chicken) up the road a bit. Thank you for the memories!!

Just perfect

Thanks so much for the use of your beautiful home on the lake. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and yours was by far the best equipped. My granddaughters loved the beach and dock and it was so easy to keep an eye on them from the deck. My sisters and I had a wonderful weekend and are talking about doing it again next year.

Great Cottage on the Lake!

We spent a week at this home and had a wonderful time. The home is very clean and we actually felt the pictures didn't do it justice. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to enjoy every meal outside on the covered deck and the dock was perfect for protecting our boat from a wind storm that blew in. We also enjoyed the fire pit that was well stocked with wood! We would definitely recommend this home to our friends and relatives. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back to this beautiful lake!

Lovely, comfortable and clean cabin right on Flathead Lake.

This rental is really delightful - exactly as described in the listing and very comfortable! The beds were very comfy, and our 3 year old loved the bunk beds in the back bedroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked on the grill on the deck almost every night. The owners also offer a service to stock the fridge/pantry before you get in, so we were able to come straight from the airport and go right to enjoying ourselves! Well worth it! If you don't have your own, you can rent a boat at Lakeside (about 15 minutes north) and drive it down to the dock at the house - or out to Wild Horse Island, where you can hike and picnic and where we did indeed meet up with the wild horses, as well as deer and bighorn sheep. Other day trips we took included fly fishing with a guide (fantastic), there are many services in the area that can book you a trip, hiking in Glacier, and lots of fun summer activities at Big Mountain (zip lines, bob-sled type slide, gondola to the top, mountain biking) and Whitefish is a fun town. We'd also recommend the live music Saturday nights at the Idle Spur - very friendly and good food, and a short drive home.

Hello Suzanne and thank you for following up with us. We had a wonderful time staying at your lovely lakefront property. We have been renting lakefront homes since 2001 and I have to say, we had the most fun at your place. The dock and yard were great places for my 4 children to keep themselves entertained. Although there were 3 rooms, the “kids room” with bunk beds is where all my children preferred to sleep together. My babysitter and her boyfriend (both 25 years old) came and stayed in the “yellow room” for the long weekend and loved it! The entire home was very nicely decorated and very amply supplied with bedding and towels – we very much appreciated that. We were also very grateful for everything else that was supplied for us. In many homes that we have rented, the houses were completely free of daily household items. I would immediately have to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent , dish soap, hand soap and the list goes on. All of those items were supplied. My children were very excited to use the small toothpaste and soap left in the bathroom. Although we VERY MUCH enjoyed the kitchen items (ie. Salad dressing, spices, ketchup, etc.) we tried to leave more than what we had left, including a pair of scissors we purchased. We very much enjoyed using some cooking items that we were not accustomed to and even my 10 year old daughter had her first stab at cooking while we stayed at your home. We had a wonderful time staying at the “Johnson Family Lake House” and hoped we would be able to stay again next year. Thank you for the wonderful memories you provided for my family.

Suzanne, we had a wonderful time at your place. We enjoyed the lake despite the smoke and just had one of the most relaxing vacations. Our kids swam every day, the men golfed and read books and we just had a terrific time. We also enjoyed Kalispel and Polson. It was a great little spot.
