Bonnie & Terry, We have stayed in a few VRBO's, but I must say, this was the Best One. We really enjoyed your condo and so did our 21 month son. Hew especially loved the san pail & toys to use at the beach. Thank you for everything!!

I have to start my review by saying that I'm the type of person who will find a place 98% good, and I'll focus on how we could have made the other 2% better. So let me start by saying this place was 98% good!! We looked around all of Maui while we were there, and the Palms are definitely one of the better built condo developments. Overall I have to say that this unit gave us a great time, well air conditioned, comfortable beds. Clean linens, lots of beach paraphernalia. Quiet location. Lovely on-site pool and hot-tub. The owner was perfect during the booking process, and we would have no hesitance in recommending this as a place to stay for our family and friends. That said, a couple of minor things detract from the condition of this condo: kitchen cabinetry is cheap and one of the large pantry doors was coming off its hinges. Some horizontal surfaces (like the marble edge around the backsplash in the kitchen) had obviously not seen a wipe-down in a couple months. The place was almost perfectly clean, but some of the more nitty-gritty details showed that a thorough, detailed cleaning is due. A couple of flourscent tubes in the bathroom did not light up consistently, leading to some "apply makeup in the dark" sessions for my wife. Overall, no complaints... and with a few touch-up restorations and maintenance, this place could be perfect.

Owner response:We always appreciate comments and reviews from our guests. All new kitchen cabinets just arrived and will be installed as soon as we have an opening. This condo is so popular we stay booked up well in advance. Upgraded designer wood cabinets are replacing the ones put in 5 years ago by the former owner. Admittedly they did a terrible job and the cabinets did not last well even though they are only 5 years old. Reference light bulbs: Replacement bulbs are in the condo for our guests, and they have the name and number of our on island manager to replace or repair any items during their stay. No one was notified about the lights, however, I just contacted my handyman to look into this matter immediately. We take great pride in our vacation rentals and want to make sure everything is not only good but great. Thank you. Dr. & Mrs. Terry Alfriend

This condo was a beautiful place to stay. Great view out the lanai where we spent most breakfasts and dinners. We have 3 kids and it felt like home within 24 hours. The air conditioning in each room was wonderful to have and everyone slept well. We spent a ton of time at the pool as it was warm and easy to walk right into. It was very close to Kihei where we spent lots of time shopping and dining at some great places. Would recommend this condo for families or couples wanting a quiet getaway. Most of all, Bonnie was an absolute joy to deal with. It was nice to have someone respond to emails right away and treat us like her long lost friends.

Beautiful Condo

A wonderful experience. Bonnie is great to work with and very accommodating. The pictures do not do the condo justice. It is comfortable and inviting. We found out it is only about a mile to a one of the best snorkeling beaches, Ulna beach. The parking space is right next to the condo. It was wonderful to have the air condition. The very large launi was perfect for us, and the pass thru window was a big bonus. I want one at my house. Lots of furnature, a nice grill that we used almost daily. It is quiet at the Palms so it was a exactly what we wanted. Quiet and comfortable but close enough to everything else. Beautiful pool at the Palms. The guest services were really helpful too. Pleanty of towels, linens, dishes and anything else you may need. We stopped at Costco for groceries when we got off the plane. It worked out great. Thank you so much Bonnie. It was the best experience we could have had. My daughter got engaged while we were there. She wants to go back to Hawaii for their honeymoon. We will definitely be returning.

Hi Bonnie, Just a note to say that we loved our stay in your condo and Maui. I felt like I was at home in your beautiful condo. It laced nothing! I loved how you furnished it and I totally felt like I was in paradise. The view from the lanai was perfect and I will truly miss the birds talking in the early morning while I sat out there having coffee. It's such a peaceful area that it was so nice to come back to after our day out and about. It was our first time in Maui and it is beautiful but unfortunately we were not able to see it all due to our time. I loved the road to Hana. A long day but worth it. My daughter and grandson really wanted to go to a luau and went to the one at the Grand Wailea which was very nice with great entertainment. Wow, what beautiful gounds! Thank you for renting to me and I look forward to coming back. Warmest Regards
