I would have to say that we have taken a lot of family vacations and staying at Serenity Point in Alexander City, AL was THE BEST!! The property was Perfect, The location was Perfect, You could sit on the porch and look at the lake, it had the best view, you fish from the piers. (So peaceful) And such a manicured property inside and out... I could go on and on about how PERFECT this place is and we will definetly tell others and go back. The owner did everything to help make the trip perfect too. He was always just a phone call/email away..before - during and after the stay. I think any and everyone that stays at Serenity Point will not be dissappointed. It could not have been more perfect....

What a GREAT house! What a wonderful place to spend your vacation! Big open water view (great breeze) with a great place to hang out and enjoy! Feels like your staying at the home of friends...everything was perfect. It will definitely be a place we will revisit!

I was blessed to be included in a family vacation at Serenity Point with my daughter, her husband and their children - heck, even my parents came along for a couple of days. My daughter called before I arrived and the contentment that Serenity Point evokes in everyone was evident in her voice and her description of the place. We all found that it was easier to take a deep breath and feel serene and content as we watched the ducks swim and listed to the children laugh. From the first quiet cup of coffee on the porch to the last glass of wine while the fireflies flickered, the days were filled with magic and joy. Thank you for sharing your space. THE BURLEYS

Overall an awesome lake vacation! The accomodations were outstanding and we enjoyed a great week relaxing with family and friends.

What a heavenly place to relax! This home is perfect for a group - and the boat house worked so well for the young men in our family get together!! We love the gorgeous view of water all around and enjoyed soaking it in while dozing in the hammocks. It's so well equipped - we felt right at home! Thanks for sharing your vacation home with us!!

The accomodations were outstanding. It was a wonderful place to celebrate our son's graduation from Auburn and his 23rd birthday. Serenity is the right adjective for this property!

Awesome . . . that's a great word to describe this lovely vacation spot. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure every aspect of the home and environment is ready to give you a relaxing and ideal home away from home. Detailed decor, hammocks, docks, it's all there! We loved it!!

It seems unfair that we should be enjoying your wonderful lake home with fantastic views of the water while others are thinking of hurricane Rita. But after this great rest we can handle anything!

We enjoyed your lovely lake cabin and the bunkhouse - it was perfect for our families! The lake view is awesome for the porch, and the three docks were great for swimming and fishing. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and they felt great after a day of skiing and tubing - thank you! The chef's in our group enjoyed your "well stocked" kitchen. They had everything needed to prepare a perfect meal. We look forward to renting from you again. It was a very memorable week!
