We had a wonderful time (week of 7/8/11) and the house worked out great for our group of friends and family. The weather cooperated and we only encountered one night that was on the border of being a bit warm for people accustomed to having AC, but we really didn't miss it. We used the deck constantly for our large group and we were surprised by virtually no bugs and zero mosquitos. Having the washer/dryer was a blessing and we certainly appreciated this as our group used it pretty much daily. Thanks for the heads up on the fresh water pond down the street, we definitely wouldn't have found that without the directions. It was a nice change from the beach, although the keepers at the pond are a bit over serious about the routine and rules. Martha's Vineyard really proved to be much more than we were expecting. Beyond the nice tourist towns and the great beaches, it surprised us that much of the island was lush, rural, and had almost a Cotswold England feel to it. We found a lot of great hikes for the mornings and enjoyed getting around all over. Again, we had a great time and certainly appreciate the use of your home!

Stayed here for a week with my family and enjoyed it immensely. The house is spacious, sunny, cozy with a cottage/beach theme, clean and equipped with everything that you'll need to enjoy your vacation. It's in a secluded section of W.Tisbury, but close enough to the area's amenities and a quick drive to Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. Walking distance to Lambert's Cove Beach which was truly a gem. A definite rental to consider and the owners have been pleasant to work with.

Our vacation in your terrific house was truly a dream come true for me. All 6 of us enjoyed all that you provided for us. The beach and walking areas around the property were super. Touring the Island while using your houae as our home base brought back many childhood memories for me. I'd recommend the house at 8 Manaquayak Road for anybody looking for a relaxing vacation in a serene sylvan setting.

We had a wonderful time at Lambert's Cove. Our friends came in from Florida and the four of us stayed a long weekend--the house was beautiful and well equiped with everything we needed including pots and pans, games, and great island information. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. In addition, the house was perfectly located so that we were central to everywhere we wanted to be on the island. We had a fantastic time - even when it rained we had a great time relaxing in front of the fireplace. We look forward to returning on a regular basis! Thank you!

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! After visiting Martha's Vineyard for 12 years we have finally found a great home central to everything. Lambert's Cove Beach, Uncle Seth's Pond, and Icehouse Pond are all a short walk away. Lambert's Cove Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. We started each day with a walk or jog along the beach. Touching the rock at the end was the big prize. :) After a long day at the beach, a dip in one of the ponds was exactly what we needed. Long Point Reservation was a beautiful spot with hiking, huge ocean waves, and yet another pond. The Farmer's Market and a yummy Scottish Bakery are a very short distance away. We loved every minute of our stay at the Dines' Lambert's Cove Cape. Already counting down the days until next year!!!

We had a wonderful time thank you! The house is beautiful -- it is very clean and nicely decorated -- nestled quietly seaside. Lambert's Cove Beach and West Tisbury are my favorite places on the Island. We had the most fabulous time at the Lambert's Cove Inn Restaurant -- the food was amazing and the atmosphere was charming, thank you for the suggestion.

Our Brackett/Ausiello/Demerjian family had a wonderful early season week at your welcoming, spacious home. The house is furnished well and has puzzles, games, Vineyard information, etc. We loved hanging out, relaxing, and cooking together. Our 16 month old granddaughter loved the wagon and riding car from the basement. The pond and beach were great for her and for the adults as well. Thank you for providing so much to make us feel at home. We'll be back next June!

Amy & David, Your house was the perfect beach house! It was comfortable, spacious, clean and the outdoor decks were great for relaxing. This was our first vineyard vacation and we now can't wait for our next! Our favorite part was Lambert's Cove Beach - the short walk was worth it. We also had a great time shopping in Oak Bluffs and walking around Edgartown (the Seafood Shanty is a must for dinner!) We definitely had one of our best family vacations and would recommend the house to others. Thank you!

What a terrific home! We enjoyed the great kitchen and the ability to have big family meals while all sitting together. We always appreciate a clean and welcoming home and that is what we found. The walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on MV was also terrific. I would recommend this home to anyone. We plan to return.

Hi David and Amy, We had a great time during our recent stay in your Lambert's Cove house. The house itself is roomy enough for a crowd, with 4 bedrooms and a big kitchen, all nicely equipped. The walking-distance proximity of a truly lovely beach, several ponds and the Lambert's Cove Inn (we had a wonderful dinner there), add up to your home being ideally situated. We'll be back and would recommend the house to others. Regards, Jim & Becky Gaul

Amy - Been meaning to comment on your guestbook to let you know that your Lambert's Cove home is ideal! Last fall 2006 and this past June 2007, the weeks that we spent on the vineyard were just divine! Both times, we shared the house with friends and made amazing dinners in the HUGE, beautiful kitchen and on the deck. The house was so comfortable, clean and well stocked. And the best part of it all... the proximity to the best beach on the island... the majestic and private Lambert's Cove Beach!!! Just a few minutes walk... Loved our special times there, so count us in for next year!

Hi Amy, I received the refund of our deposit today. Thank you! We had a wonderful time at your home. Your house is warm and friendly and nicely kept. The Kitchen is so big and airy. The weather was great. Lamberts Cove is such a beautiful space and our granddaughter had the best time playing in a little inlet stream that fed from a fresh water lake. I'm glad we found your home. Hope to return. Thanks and have a good year! Mary Bob

The house was cheerful, well maintained, well equipped, and comfortable. No sign of mold or mildew in the living areas, which has happened to us with other MV rentals. The privacy was great and the location near Lambert's Cove beach is a blessing. Amy is a great landlord--quite helpful if a problem occurs.

My family and I spent a wonderful week in Amy's house in June 2007. The house is comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. The beach is beautiful. The water is clear and there are no crowds. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Your place is truly a dream! I held a working retreat there with work colleagues during the weekend and used the place as a personal retreat during the week. We really enjoyed all the modern touches, working fireplace, comfy couches, large kitchen, use of the bicycles, and collecting beautiful stones from the beach only 5-minutes away. Many thanks for creating all the pre-conditions for a terrific weekend. Reggie Solomon New Haven, CT

This was a wonderful escape. Spending New Year's on the Vineyard was far better than any of the usual alternatives with plenty to do and see - with the added beauty of being on such a special island. The house was perfect; well maintained with new furniture and really comfortable beds. In general, very cute. The location was a bonus too - close walk to the beach and Vineyard Haven.

We loved our stay in your beautiful home! Thank you for sharing your house with us, we were very comfortable there. The best part is the location, it was so nice to be able to walk to the beach. We found ourselves returning for a sunset walk each day. We also liked the large kitchen and dining area. All in all, a wonderful vacation.
