About the host

Host profile image
Amanda and Bern Friman- we live in Bedford and we never fail to be in awe of the Scottish scenery. We love a range of outdoor activities so Scotland is ideal for our own holidays. We have been providing high quality holiday accommodation in Scotland for over 19 years!

As well as the spectacular natural scenery, Scotland has a wealth of architectural interest, combining robust and sturdy with ornate and beautiful. No other part of the UK is similarly speckled with such architectural gems; from tiny lodge houses to tower houses, castles and mansions. Having said that, the majority of the buildings from the second half of the 20th century leave much to be desired. Fortunately, the stunning mountain views are what memories are made of!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the views. The area is a gem, so close to Glasgow, yet feeling so remote.

What makes this property unique

Period features and Victorian furniture in keeping with the style of the house whilst being fully equipped with Broadband and digital TV.
