Water Music was just as described in the listing. The house is the perfect size for two families with children or teenagers. Nice views of the ocean and lighthouse. You can see the sunris on the east and sunset on the west. Well-stocked kitchen and short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. The owner was very helpful in advance to ensure a nice stay.

Our October stay was refreshing and fabulous, and we look forward to our four-week stay in May/June! The area is FULL of things to do in and out of doors, suitable for adults and children - great for families! Water Music was comfortable, well supplied, and conveniently located - coming off season was especially exciting as we related to the "natives" in the area! The owner worked with us to ensure all was as described, and we were very satisfied. Our dog loved it, too.

Water Music was true to its name. We could indeed hear the waves and catch glimpses of the ocean between other houses. The beach was only a few minutes walk, as were the two community pools. We especially liked the pool on the sound since it had some shade and a wooden or composition deck around it. The house was homey and comfortable for all of us - Grandparents in their early sevenities, two daughters and husbands in their forties,and 4 grandchildren from age 19 to age 10.and one well behaved Miniature Schnauzer. We loved the Fiesta dishes which were numerous and amazingly unchipped and there were enough wine glasses for a party plus an abundance of other glasses.. Lots of pots and pans and siverware, bowls of various sizes were there. We ate every meal at the house and there was room at the dining table for ten people. The open concept upstairs allowed plenty of room for everyone and we could all be basically together even thought we may have been occupied with different activities. The WiFi was a necessity for us as the grandchildren were on the I-Pad or the laptop whenever they weren't at the beach, in the pool or hot tub. The Food Lion was an easy drive so that was very convenient. And the Lighthouse and Heritage Park weres even closer. Our family loved the hot tub. The grandchildren loved the hammock and the swing. Some of us took early morning walks on the beach every day and others went at night with flashlights. And of course we also enjoyed the beach during the day as well as the pools.

Early March Beach Getaway

Our beach getaway was wonderful! Thank you so much for providing a beautifully decorated and comfortable house. We couldn't have asked for a better location either. The weather was agreeable (only one rainy day) and we took full advantage of the beach and nature trails with our dogs. Your kitchen is one of the best equipped ones I have ever rented! Thanks again and if we ever rent again in Corolla we will definitely contact you.

Perfect house close to the beach!

We stayed at Water Music last Labor Day week and had so much fun. The house has a ton of amenities and is a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house was super clean and big enough for our dogs and all of our friends. The upstairs has an open concept so everyone can hang out comfortably in one place. Also, the owner is wonderful and helped us with tons of recommendations of things to do. We will definitely return.

This house was perfect for our family vacation; it was spacious and clean. We were a large group ranging in age from 55 to 3. My teenage daughter loved the privacy of the downstairs game room with its daybed and half bath while the rest of us enjoyed the large bedrooms upstairs with more than enough comfy beds for everyone. Beach access was great, a very short walk, and the community pools were close by and very nice, too. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Shopping was only a short drive from the house, so getting groceries wasn't a big chore. Also, the owner was a pleasure to do business with. He responded quickly to any e-mails or phone calls, and made the rental transaction easy. A trustworthy owner that provides a quality vacation home, you won't be disappointed. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures on the website!

We stayed at Water Music at the beginnning of June and we had a wonderful time! Everyone in the family really enjoyed the house and were very happy with the cost of it! The house is set up really nice and the kitchen had everything we needed! (we cooked in a lot!) The beach access was very close and the sites that we saw that were nearby were wonderful! We were fortunate enough to see three herds of horses on the 4X4 beach just north of the house, and we even saw a sea turtle that came to lay her eggs! There were lots of dolphins (maybe they were porpoises???) We all had a wonderful time and would recomend this house! We will probably be renting it in two years when we go back! We have no complaints at all about the location or the house. It was the best vacation we've had in the past 10 years! That says a lot about the property!

This house is wonderful-- The description the owner provides doesn't even begin to do it justice! For families with small children, you are super close to the beach. The access road is one house away. The beach is not crowded like some of the other beaches I've stayed at and there is a lifeguard very close to you. Every night after supper we would take the dogs down to the beach to play with their tennis balls. By this time of day, there was hardly anyone on the beach- perfect for letting your dog run or a romantic walk! For the cooks in the family, the kitchen had everything in it that you would need for your meals. There are a ton of pots, pans, and baking dishes. If was so easy to relax in this house-- you could go out to one of the decks and read a book or just sit on the swing. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone was friendly. It's also a short drive to anything you would need such as groceries, clothing, or take-out. This house is great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay!

We rented the Water Music Cottage for the long Easter weekend with our son and two of his college roommates, and it was great! One of the cleanest houses we've rented in 20 years of visiting the Outer Banks! A short walk to the beach, spacious layout, and nice furnishings. Close to recreation and shopping. We'd definitely come back again!

We stayed at Water music last April 2006 and rebooked for this year. It is a perfect place, very close to the beach and waves heard and seen from the upper deck. The streets are quiet with very little traffic and the nature trail within walking distance is great. Some businesses are not open this time of year, so it is much quieter than it may be in season. Very nicely decorated inside.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this house! The beach is a short (less than 5 minute) walk away and you can hear the ocean from most rooms. It is well equipped and the location is excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
