  Hi Maurice, Just got home today w/the family. We all really had a great time at your place. The kids learned how to skim board, and loved horsing around in the waves. It was a peaceful feeling seeing everyone relaxed and laughing. We cooked in almost every night with the exception of a seafood buffet at Captain George's, and pizza on the last night while we cleaned up. Friday night, we took a group picture on your front steps...all 16 of us! Can't believe it's all over! Again, thank you and Diane for opening up your home to us, it was lovely! Tina

  Maurice and Diane, We really enjoyed your home – it was beautiful and had everything we needed. I am so used to bringing a lot of the toys and extra things so I did but certainly didn’t need to bring anything but ourselves and food. Your home was so comfortable, it felt like home. We loved sitting out on the top deck and watching the golfers as well as the deer roaming – on 2 occasions we saw 3 or 4 deer roaming – the little ones were so amazed. We also enjoyed the speakers and music both inside and outside – the pool table was a real hit for everyone. I was alittle concerned about not having space in the refrigerator because we buy our food at Sams club and bring it with us but I was pleasantly surprised that we did have plenty of space. Even though the refrigerator downstairs is not full size, it is much bigger than I expected and worked very well. As for the picture, your home is decorated beautifully and very warm and fun but we like to give a token of our appreciation and the picture was what we chose it actually fits your décor very well. You are very welcome. I will take time this weekend to post on your blog and post some pictures as well. Thanks again! Beth

  Hello! I would like to thank you both for opening up your house to me and my family for the second year in a row! We loved it as much this time as the first! It is in such a great location! The beach access is right across the street and it seemed like we were the only ones on the beach at times! I cannot wait to plan our next trip down to the OBX and have another wonderful time! • Perfect Location!

  Our family of 18 stayed at Sea de Green last week for our wedding. We enjoyed the golf course views, and the close proximity to the beach and shopping. Our guests ranged in age from 7 to 69, and all had a great time! The pool, hot tub and pool table were used constantly. We were concerned that the walk to the beach might be too much, and brought bikes with us, but our concerns were unfounded! The beach is perfect! It felt like a private beach! We had a great time taking flashlights down to the beach at night and watching the sand crabs. Sea de Green had everything we needed, and after visiting other towns in OBX, we think Corolla is the best town to vacation in, and Sea de Green a perfect place to stay. We can't wait to come back!

  Hi Maurice, Ohh the house was absolutely wonderful, I loved it; so did all our guests. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool, basketball goal, ladder ball, hibachi ball, well everything!! It was enough to keep them plenty entertained and no fighting all week;) The top floor was great for entertaining, playing games and eating yummy meals. We watched the sunset everynight. It was all so peaceful, even with 16 people in the house! We had a fox visit one night, but he posed no threat. Our wedding day was perfect! Not a cloud could be seen in the sky, very little wind, we even had the Mayor of Corolla watch our special day. We just so happened to run into him on the beach (not knowing of course), asking around if we could park a few cars on the street. He was great and gave us the approval so there was no worries of being towed. I could not have asked for a better place to hold the reception, yard was beautiful. We used the carport for our buffet and our own chef cattered the entire event! We are so blessed. I should have photos by end of next week, I can't wait to share. We were a little late checking out, so I apologize for that. We have NO complaints, Sea De Green is alittle piece of heaven and I hope to come back annually to celebrate love, family and friends. Thank you so much for all your hospitality, it was definitley a week we will always remember. Take care, Alicia

  Hello Maurice and Diane, My family had a wonderful week at Sea DeGreen. It is indeed a very comfortable house with all the amenities that make a great vacation for all ages. The pool was wonderful and after the storm and cooler temperatures, the hot tub came in very handy. The toys you have provided are perfect; (I think we may have contributed to the ones already there). We actually spent very little time at the beach. A wonderful time was had by all and we would recommend Sea DeGreen to our friends who are looking for a large, comfortable vacation home. From the beautiful sunset view over the back deck and golf course to the quick walk to the beach - we all had an amazing vacation!! We are already talking about next year's trip! Rich was there when we arrived on Saturday to "brief" us about everything and I got to meet Janet on Wednesday - she is too funny!!!
