This stand-alone 2-story home is perfectly situated to take in the unparalleled beauty and recreational opportunities of Kauai's north shore. Ideal for one or two couples or for a family of four, it has a fully equipped kitchen, and all the amenities needed for an enjoyable relaxing vacation.
Cathedral ceilings, 30 windows, two lanais, and a front porch make for stunning views of the ocean, mountains and waterfalls. Walk across the street to enjoy spectacular ocean sunsets, watch the surfers, and see humpback whales (December to April), sea turtles, and dolphins. The Princeville Resort beach, open to the public, is a five-minute walk down an access path by the hotel and offers excellent snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and sun bathing. Choose from several excellent nearby restaurants, or cook gourmet meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and feel free to use the herb garden in the back yard.
The living room, dining area, and kitchen are located on the upper level, where views can be best appreciated. The rear lanai off the living room is a wonderful place to enjoy meals and sip tropical drinks. A half bath is conveniently located on the upper level.
The lower level has a new full-capacity washer and dryer, folding area, two bedrooms, and two full baths. The spacious main bedroom features a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and private bath with a bathtub and shower. Exit the sliding glass doors from the main bedroom to a tiled lanai, sit on the porch swing and enjoy lush tropical foliage and fragrant breezes. The second bedroom features two long twin beds (a "bed joiner" can make it a king bed) and a private full bathroom down the hall. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
