Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is located six miles east of the heart of Destin. There is nothing like it on the panhandle. It has four championship golf courses, 15 tennis courts, a sports and spa clinic, biking trails throughout, many shops and restaurants including the new Baytowne Wharf shopping area overlooking the bay, the Hilton Hotel, and much more. It is beautifully landscaped with security at all the entrances. It is a wonderful place to ride bikes and rollerblade.
This unit is located on the third floor, with balconies off the family room and master bedroom. Gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico and the sand dunes. The unit has a king-size bed in the master and one of the guest bedrooms. The other guest bedroom has two queens in it (will sleep four). So the unit will sleep a total of ten people (including sleeper sofa). Very spacious, over 1500 square feet.
I have one-, two-, and three-bedroom units on the beach in Beachside Towers. Beachside Towers is right on the beach. My rates all year round are 40% off the resort rates (and sometimes more). Two of my units are first floor, right on the beach. My one bedroom walks out to the pool deck, and is located in Beachside Two towers, and my two bedroom has a private back yard, located in Beachside One towers. I also have a third and fifth floor, two bedroom/two bath and a third floor, three bedroom/two bath, all in Beachside One towers. Both buildings have heated pools.
You also have access to the Hilton's amenities. They have a new spa, which you may pay to use, along with a work-out facility, a five-star restaurant, a buffet-style restaurant, a deli/ice cream shop, and an outdoor bar overlooking the beach that serves great sandwiches. Live music most of the year overlooking the beach at the new outdoor restaurant/bar built in 2005.
Across the street overlooking the Choctawatchee Bay, there is a new community in Sandestin called Baytowne Wharf. There are numerous shops and restaurants, a fun place to go without leaving the resort. You can drive or take the boat ferry, which is free of charge. Do not miss it!
All of my units have fully-equipped kitchens, washer and dryers, linens provided, and free local phone calls. The rates include the cleaning fee. My one bedroom has a small bedroom that has a queen-size bed in it. In the family room is a king-size Murphy bed that comes down off of the wall. It is very comfortable, and does not take up any floor space. The sofa is also a sleeper, and was recently purchased. My units are decorated very nicely, with everything always updated, and furniture that is not more than five years old.
My one bedroom is completely tiled. It is in a great location right next to Elephant Walk. It is perfect for a couple or a family of four with two small children. My two bedrooms have two full baths, a king in the master, a queen in the guest (third floor has twins), and a queen-size sleeper. It has three TVs, three VCRs, and a DVD. Very large two bedrooms, the first floor unit is tiled throughout except for the bedrooms. Carpeting in two of the units was replaced in the winter of 2005.
I own a total of five units in Destin and have been renting them myself since I bought my first one 12 years ago. I also manage other units, both at the Sandestin Resort and Pelican Beach Resort. My rates cannot be beat anywhere. Half of my business is repeat or referral. I keep my rates low and my condominiums very nice so you will tell your friends and family and want to come back! No matter how long you stay... it is never enough!
