In the summer, discover the Wildflower Capital of Colorado in the many surrounding mountains with 4-wheel trails, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and horseback riding trails! Just 40 miles away is the Blue Mesa Lake (largest lake in Colorado) where you can rent a boat for fishing, water skiing or even try your hand at wind surfing. Approximately 26 miles away is the small town of Almont where you can find plenty to keep you busy--either fly fishing, white water rafting, kayaking or duckying!
