Waters Edge Villa overlooks the lovely palm-fringed beach of Cowpet Bay. This recently renovated, new to the market 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium is located directly over the beach. The ocean-front master bedroom has sliding glass doors to the full-length porch and a second bedroom faces the garden-side. Listen to the sound of the gentle waves on the beach while you relax in the comfortable wicker porch furniture overlooking the harbor. Read a book on the beach or try one of the many beach activities. Enjoy a refreshing tropical drink at one of the local beach bars and for dinner, walk the beach to one of the first-class restaurants or just relax with a cozy dinner at home.
This villa has a living room and dining area, master bedroom with a king-size bed and the garden-side bedroom with twin beds which can also be made up as king-size. The unit accommodates 4 people and has all the amenities and upscale furnishings necessary for a comfortable vacation escape. My wife and I stayed at #28, and were delighted with the accommodations. The condominium was in very good order, and was fully stocked with enough equipment to host a nice sized dinner party. We had a great view of the sea. The breeze blowing through the condo was very refreshing; we never had to use the air-conditioning. Roberts and Ainsley, the two restaurants on the beach were very good and very convenient. We had an excellent visit. Cowpet Bay is very protected, making swimming a pleasure, especially in the roped off area. All in all, an excellent visit, and we would not hesitate in coming back time and time again.

We LOVED our stay at Waters Edge Villa. Our 1st impression of the condo when we walked in was "WOW! We picked a great place!" The views were incredible, the place was decorated so nicely, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the convenience to Red Hook and the 2 restaurants/bars on the beach (Robert's American Grill and Ainsley's Beachside Café). The beach in front of the condo was just perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend a stay here. We didn't want to leave!

My husband and I decided to do something very different over our Christmas holidays and opted to spend our celebrations away from home. We have been to St. Thomas in the past and decided it would be a wonderful place to gather with my daughter and one of her college roomates, to feel the warmth and dip our toes in the sand & ocean. We decided this time to rent a condo instead of the usual locations we had frequented in the past so we could have more privacy and where we could enjoy meals in and out. After much deliberation and searching, we contacted Bill and Lorraine for their condo in Cowpet Bay. Not only was it perfectly located, but it's cleanliness and accomodations right on the beach made it a great choice. What made it extra sepecial was a balcony that overlooked the harbor and every amenity you could ask for provided. We had so much fun and despite all of our recreation and exploring some of the other Islands during the day, we had the most relaxed vacation I think we've ever had. What made it even more fun was that the 21 year olds we brought with us had just as much fun and relaxation in their own right. I would recommend this location and especially these owners to anyone who wishes to have a very special time in a wonderful destination. Sandy & Ernesto

As this was our first experience in villa/condo rentals verses hotels both my wife and I were both apprehensive about what to expect. As cleanliness is our #1 one priority for any return stay (my wife and I will walk around in our socks for a few hours to see if the floors/carpets are clean – that gives us a good indication about the sheets, toilets and services), we were both presented a class “AAA” facility. Everything was clean and in working order. As this was a gated community, 1 week prior to our arrival the owners sent us the gate badge and door keys. We were at the Water Edge Villa, Unit # 28. There was no check-in process, front desk or lobbies to worry about. Just go to the condo, open the door and enjoy. We had our own private entrance and could come and go without elevators or hallways. The left side went to our car, the right to the beach, simple. Each condo had an assigned parking space which made parking easy. After arrival we went shopping at a food center that was approx. 10 minutes from our condo. For 1 week we experienced a condo that had all the charm of St. Thomas and the conveniences of home. Cowpet Bay and beach was right off the extra large terrace with wicker furniture. My wife and I spent many hours on the terrace during the evening enjoying the Leeward breeze. Two of the nights Mother Nature presented us with a full moon on the bay. In fact, the master king-size bedroom has sliding-glass doors that look out toward the bay. The condo can accommodate 4 adults without a problem. The community was kept clean and was quit in the tropical evening. A day after arrival the owners called us to make sure everything was in order. You have access (5 minutes walk) to a beautiful large swimming pool and a clean beach in front. Both the pool and beach area is a 5 minute walk from the condo. The pool was spotless and the beach had plenty of palm trees/chairs and sunshine. There is a restaurant right on the beach called “Roberts”. - try the She Crab Soup and stuffed Lobster. They are open for lunch and dinners, and offer pool side service. As my wife and I are, the fly and drive type, we rented a Jeep for a week and enjoyed free wheeling around the island. Based on our experience our stay at the Water Edge Villa was flawless and I would recommend the condo to anyone as a place to unwind and enjoy the sun.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. We have been going to STT for 15 years staying in a hotel. This is the first time we stayed in a condo and it was so much better with all the conveniences of home. The Hanson's were so helpful with everything. We will be back in 2007!

Comment Text: We just spent five days at Waters Edge. The condominium was extremely comfortable, well furnished, and has everything you could need for a great vacation. Cowpet Bay is extremely scenic, and the views from the villa are fabulous. It is a short ride to Red Hook, which is a great part of the Island. All in all, it was a great stay!!

The condo at Water's Edge at Cowpet Bay is fantastic! It overlooks a beautiful, white sandy beach with many palm trees for shade, if desired. There are great restaurants within a short walk on the beach, such as Robert's Restaurant, one of the best in all of St. Thomas. The condo itself is beautifully decorated with two bedrooms and two baths. There is plenty of privacy for two couples. The balcony, overlooking the water's edge, provides the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. The trade winds that drift through the condo keep everything comfortable all day and are especially nice for sleeping. Our week at this vaction resort rates up there with our best vacations. There's plenty to do, or not. We went to St. John for dinner one night (a very short ferry ride). We also rented a power boat one day from NautiNymph which allowed us to visit some of the other nearby islands, although none more beautiful than Cowpet Bay where we relaxed, swam, and took leisurely walks along the beach. We definitely plan to return.
