WINTERTIME - This location is hard to beat. Less than a 4 minute walk to River Run Base using Pennay’s Path.
This upscale spacious and newly furnished three-story townhome is located in West Ketchum and is about as close as you can get to River Run Lifts; just a 4 minute walk. The small complex of nine townhomes assures a quiet and relaxing vacation. Sunbird Townhomes are located at 131 Bird Drive at the intersection of Wood River Dr. The complex is also contiguous to the bike and ski path. Google Earth(tm) this location and see where you could be staying.
All appointments and furnishings are deluxe. The three level Townhome has great views of Baldy and the surrounding mountains.

This townhome is maintained to the first degree. The large heated garage has plenty of room even with a large SUV. Carpeted area with bench and clothes and ski racks for 6.
This changing area has it all including boot warmers. There is also a large heated and carpeted laundry room on the garage floor.
The main living area is spacious with ample natural light and a river stone fireplace with gas starter. There is a deck off of the living area with a stainless steel gas grill. The dining area seats six comfortably and has a separate bar. The kitchen is light and airy with its own great view. There is a breakfast bar and a large pantry.
There are two bedrooms on the living area level one with a queen-size bed and one with two twins that can be "bridged" to a king. There is a shared bath for these bedrooms.
On the third floor there is a very large master suite which has a king-size bed and a very large walk-in closet with dressing area. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub and a separate large shower.
This townhouse has all the comforts of home; from plush towels to the best linens, gourmet cookware and fine artwork. The location makes it about a four minute walk to River Run lifts, and six blocks to Main Street. The Wood River is just one block away.

Great Girls' Getaway Weekend Retreat!

This condo is wonderful for just about any small group gathering, but we found it fabulous for our girls' weekend away! It was perfectly sized for our party of four because we each had our own (comfortable) bed and the kitchen was more than adequately stocked with everything we needed except for food. Very close to downtown, optimal distance to the trail for biking, walking, or running, nice and quiet, very clean, and very restful. We loved having a private hot tub rather than a shared community hot tub - great addition! Our group has already committed to returning in future years! The customer service from the property manager was fantastic and they made it very easy for us. I would recommend bringing additional hangars for clothing because there are only a few supplied. Since this condo is three levels, I wouldn't recommend for families with toddlers or older guests that have trouble navigating stairs.

Lovely condo, everything you need, very clean, short walk to lifts along the river. I've have skiied at 30 different resorts and I'll diffently be back to this one and stay at this condo

Thanks for a great vacation. What a perfect location easy walk to the slopes or into town. The best part was the heated garage which is perfectly laid out for skiiers from the long bench to the ski rack to the individual boot warmers!!! I love to cook and the kitchen is well equipped. The best I have rented.

Talk about a great time....we had a blast! This condo is very comfortable and equipped with everything one can possibly ask for. From the heated entry level garage for ski boot and ski apparel storage, to the comfy living room with gas fireplace....this place has a fabulous layout. We have stayed in a number of ski condos over the years, but none as nicely equipped as this one. The walk to the slopes is easier than anticipated and actually, quite lovely. After skiing, the private hot tub is the place to be! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. We made memories that will last a lifetime!

This place is AWESOME!! The short walk to the River Run lift was perfect for easy access to the fresh groomed trails in the AM. The nice furnishings and cleanliness of the condo made for INCREDIBLE stay.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place is beautifully decorated and so close to the lodge and downtown. The owners thought of everything including fresh robes for the spa. Home was immaculate! Highly recommend.

What an amazing place!! We went in October and what a great time to experience the mountains for hiking and biking!! The place is very relaxing and we walked into town every day for lunch or dinner....I highly recommend the place!
