Private and relaxing retreat abutting conservation land in a quiet wooded setting. The home is the only building on a large private lot with plenty of room and grass for the kids to play on or to have a great BBQ dinner in the yard! Our home is in immaculate condition and has been designed to provide a perfect Nantucket vacation. Short walk to 2 white sand beaches, private tennis courts and great location are only some of the fantastic amenities that set this home apart from other properties We take great pride in providing excellent amenities and outstanding customer service. On-island caretaker is available to assist you if necessary.
Five minute walk to North Shore Beach on private path, ten minute walk to Madaket Harbor beach, and ten minute bike ride to spectacular sunsets at Madaket Surf beach. Bike path leading to all parts of the island is one minute away. We are also a two minute walk from the Island Shuttle stop which will take you to most points on the island if you dont want to bring a car.
High vaulted ceilings, beautiful gourmet kitchen with custom cherry cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and all cooking accoutrements (owner is a professional chef).
Dine in either the inside dining area or on the large deck which features Long Pond and forest views. Large living room has surround sound, flat screen tv, CD/DVD player, iPod connectivity, and wireless broadband access throughout the house.
Master bed room has king-size bed, TV, private door to outdoor deck; guest bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room for additional guests. Plenty of storage in each bedroom and lots of storage and counter space in the bathroom.
Outdoor shower adjacent to mudroom/laundry room.
BBQ, propane and grilling tools right outside the back door.

Why the Owner Chose Madaket
Adam's family were farmers on Nantucket from the early 1800's, so our roots on the island run deep. His father developed the Fishers Landing community and we are so pleased and privileged to have a small piece to call our own. With the family farmhouse next door, this was the perfect place to build our second home on an island we love.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The Fishers Landing neighborhood is very peaceful and we love visiting during the change in seasons. It's a pleasure to walk in our community and environs due to all the conservation land in the area. We love being so close to the water and enjoy walking to the beach and taking out the boat. Adam is an avid fisherman and golfer--Melissa joins him regularly for tours of the coastline or a round of pasture golf. We're happy to have the occasional foggy day so we can catch up on our maintenance list or a good book.
Owner's Map of Madaket
We are so glad to be able to divide our time between two islands: Hawaii and Nantucket. Adam spent his summers on Nantucket as a child and has shown Melissa all his favorite haunts. When off-island Adam manages a private estate in Hawaii and Melissa manages the family's vacation rentals. Our family includes our Labrador Retriever Fisher who loves Nantucket and is proud to carry the family name that is reflected in our community's name (Fisher's Landing), as well as our cat Bali who is just as happy to stay in Hawaii and relax in the sun.
