The Chateau de Palaminy is located between Toulouse and Pyrenees -French South-West "Sud Ouest", close to Gascony, between Perigord and Spain- alongside a charming village, enclosed in a ten-acre park.
Swim in the 53-by-23 meter swimming pool, or practice tennis, badminton or ping pong, or bask idly in the warm South-West sunshine,... whatever you feel like.
The French owners (English and Spanish speaking), will offer you a warm welcome and do their best to help you enjoy your stay. They live in the other wing, and will have the pleasure to point out for you many places of interest at a short reach.
Close to all facilities, and at the same time so peaceful thanks its park, Palaminy offers the opportunity of a relaxing and enchanting stay.
The chateau de Palaminy is a Historical castle. The rented wing is beautifully decorated (see photos below) : luxurious bedrooms, tiled floors, styled furniture and paintings. It combines luxury and charm. Self-catering rentals for families and groups of up to 12 people are available for one or several weeks. Six large double bedrooms from 18 to 40 square meters, five en suite spick and span bathrooms with en suite toilets, cosy 100-square-meter living room (see photo below) with fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, parking for five cars. Rental is possible all year long (central heating).
An outstanding, 53-by-23 meter swimming pool bordered with pink marble, the large park (10 acres) and a tennis court are at your disposal (shared with the owners). The chateau de Palaminy stands within an exceptionally attractive region. Famous points of interest nearby include Toulouse, Albi, Carcassonne, Auch, Montauban, Lourdes, the cathars' castles, Rieux-Volvestre, Vall d'Aran (picturesque Spanish valley) etc. Cazères-sur-Garonne, 1.5 kilometer (1 mile) away, with country-products market, offers a wide choice of shops, doctors, chemists, banks and several restaurants.
The Castle and its private park are situated alongside the old village, where typical houses increase the charm of the decor. For everyday shopping, a supermarket is available close by, along with a fine wine shop.
