Hill Top Oaks Cottage - Saugatuck Vacation Rental Hill Top Oaks Cottage is located on "the hill" just a few short blocks to historical downtown Saugatuck. Experience the feel of years gone by in this large quaint cottage that is walking distance to town, restaurants, coffee shops, theater, live music and Saugatuck harbor. Beautiful Oval beach is only a two minute short drive away or you can take the chain ferry across the river, and climb up and over Baldhead sand dune to the beach. There is a Beautiful view of the Saugatuck Harbor and city along the way. Lifegaurds,restrooms,charcoal grills and a snack bar are located here. Douglas beach is another nice more secluded beach where the locals frequently go, which is very close by. Saugatuck Dunes State Park is located just north of Saugatuck about 2-3 miles. There are several wooded hiking trials and sand dunes leading to the white sandy shore's of lake michigan. If your looking to get away from it all,this is the place. Picnic tables, grills and restrooms are located in the park.
