This was our second stay at the Barefoot Beach Condos. This condo has everything you'll need to enjoy a carefree vacation. The condo was very clean and well-maintained. It was great having the beach chairs and umbrella there for our use. The keyless entry system was a great convenience. This condo complex has the prettiest grounds and nicest pool of all the nearby complexes and is just a short walk across the street to the beautiful beach. The owner, Michael, was prompt to answer any questions...very organized and professional. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Last year we stayed at this exact condo, and this year we had an even better time. This condo is clean, well kept and perfect for our needs. Some condos are lived in consistently, and it feels like you are intruding on someone's home. This condo has the perfect mix of everything you need, and simplicity. We love the heated pool, and the fact that the laundry is just outside the door (bring quarters). You will not be disappointed. The owners are ON TOP OF IT. They are organized and have it down to a science. They provide clean documentation on all processes and procedures needed to make your stay easy. The digital lock makes check-in quick and easy. No mailing keys back and forth, or meeting a stranger in a dark alley for a key. Owners are quick to respond and efficient. The beach is a short walk away, and private. We love the Gulf sunsets. The Gulf is warm and peaceful. Waves on our vacation were slow and didn't crash very far from the shore. So, you can still stand or float in the peaceful waters and not get pounded by the waves. Don't let the weather fool you, in Florida, they are always calling for a chance of rain. Some friends of ours stayed at another condo in the same complex and we had a great time sharing our vacation together. We took the kids to a nearby pirate ship ride, which also is a dolphin tour. Crabby Bill's was our kid's favorite restaurant. We really enjoy staying at this particular condo, and we are making plans for next year. This is the only way to experience the Gulf, and have a relaxing vacation. Private condos give a much better experience than a hotel. At a hotel, everyone is passing through and it gives an influx of tourists. In a condo community, the out-of-town traffic is varied, and you become a "local" for the week. And you get a full kitchen to cook in, or just have bowls of cereal handy for hungry kids. The kitchen has pots,pans,cookie sheets,bowls,plates and silverware. And a dishwasher to keep you out on the beach and out of the kitchen. All the amenities of home. I really appreciate the owners making their condo available for rental, we will be back again.

A perfect salty piece of land!

My family just returned from a wonderful vacation spent at Indian Shores. The condo was perfect - snuggled between the Intracostal Waterway and The Gulf our stay gave us the best of both worlds. The grounds also gives you the feeling of being on a tropical island getaway which can only add to your "relaxed state of mind". I really dont want to talk it up to much for the fear that this location will become "over-extended" with seasonal travelers,however, from the condo to the perfect location it will become a go to spot for us! Thanks for everything, it was amazing!

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful week at your condo. It was just as described,very bright and spotless. The view was outstanding of the intercoastal and the pool. The landscape was very neat and clean. The photos and listing description were spot on. The owner was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions very quickly. The packet he sent was very useful.We liked the electronic door lock didn't have to worry about a key. A very short walk to the beach across the street where we spent most of our time,beach chairs and beach towels provided in the condo was a added plus as we arrived by air. also excellent directions from the airport. I would very much recommend this condo to anyone wanting a quiet week at the beach, We hope to return next year and would book this one again. Thanks again for letting us spend a very relaxing week at your condo you have a excellent place!

Great Stay!

We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of age, although being a second floor unit might be a problem for some since there is no elevator. The description and photos of the condo and its amenities were right on and it was a well-kept, attractive unit. Everything was in proper working order and we never had any problems. The resort staff was very friendly and much effort is made by the maintenance crew to keep the property in good shape at all times. The owner was also most accommodating and easy to deal with. We especially liked the lay-out of the unit with the sunny lanai providing views of the pool below and the intracoastal waterway. Plus, one only has to cross Gulf Blvd. and you're right on the beach in less than 1-2 minutes. The location of the resort is also appealing because of the proximity of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Lastly, it's a good bargain for all that you get. We'd have no hesitation in renting this condo again sometime in the future.

All of the amenities of every day life, but with a beach and pool. There is a coin operated washer/dryer room just outside, so we were able to keep the take-home chores to a minimum. We have a 4 year old and an 8 year old. If we were not at the beach, we were at the heated pool. There is a putt putt golf course less than a block away. They have live alligators, which is all my kids talked about. There is a restaurant, and a small beach supply store, both about a block away. You could spend your whole vacation and never get into the car. A small, but beautiful kitchen, with everything you need to make a quick meal or whatever you make time for. There are community grills where you can fire up a juicy steak, or quick hotdogs. Having a kitchen saved us so much money and gave more beach/pool time. The beach is a quick walk across the street (walkway provided). Perfect for beautiful sunsets. Seems silly, but of all the great features, we loved the digital lock. It allows you to have a special code that allows you to enter when you arrive. We got in later than we liked, but it was ready for us. Then you can change it. It locks you out on the last day. No key to keep up with, and my wife and I could come and go without key coordination. The owners have a great list of recommended restaurants and attractions to keep you from searching all over. Try the Hamburger recommendation at sunset. A successful vacation. We really appreciate the owners offering this condo to the public, and look forward to future vacations here.

Best vacation ever!!

This was our first family vacation with our girls (ages 4 and 6), and we had a fantastic time! You could not ask for anything more. We were close to the pool, close to the intercoastal, close to the beach, we cooked most of our own meals on the grill located on the property (saved a lot of money), and we slept peacefully and comfortably every night. Travel up and down the coast was easy and we even saw dolphins! We really felt like we were at home. Other condo guests who we ran into at the pool were so kind and friendly. We could not have asked for a more fantastic and relaxing vacation. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your condo!

Condo was great!! Locstion was terrific-intercoastal out back and across the street from the gulf. My husband and I wanted to do nothing on our vacation but to enjoy the pool,beach,and resturants which is just what we did. Everything was perfect-we will be back!!

Fantastic Clean Condo with all the amenities needed for a great vacation! A short stroll to the beach and the pool located on the intracoastal is very nice. We had a wonderful week and hated to go home. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed April 18 - 25, 2009. What a wonderful week of sun and relaxation! The condo has everything needed for a "laid back" vacation. Pool was great and the beach is a short walk across Gulf Blvd. Thanks for providing beach chairs! The sun room was great for enjoying our coffee every morning. We will definitely consider renting here again!

My daughter and I stayed a week for Spring Break. What a treat for us! Great set up of the condo- nothing missing. I enjoyed the ease of walking to the beach and to the intercoastal! Great beach chairs and coolers! Super Quiet location. I recommend Conch (Johns pass), Friendly Tavern- burgers, and Salt Rock Grill for a nice dinner out! Thank you Michael for the ease of booking...and lovely accommodations!

We had not idea how much we were going to enjoy our visit! The condo was sunny,lots of windows, a view of the intercoastal and the pool.A great location, clean and in a great area. We love to bike and were able to ride our bikes on the beach and the Pinellas trail.We really enjoyed Heritage Park too.There is a lot to do in the area and the condo had everything we needed. Highly recommend, but not when WE want to go back.

My husband & I spent a few days in this Barefoot Beach Condo. It is a lovely unit with everything one would need for a great vacation - including a fishing pole! Location is great - beach is beautiful - plenty of good restaurants in the area - our 2 favorites happen to be Crabby Bill's & Micky Quinn's. Would highly recommend this rental!!

This beach vacation was GREAT!!! We live just over the water in Tampa and go to the beach every year, always different locations to see what's best but our search is over. I read comments from previous guests both good and bad for the condos as a whole but they must not have stayed in our same room (206). It was extremely clean and comfortable. I stayed with my husband and 8month old (his first trip to the beach)and I felt right at home. Plus this condo came with lots of extra goodies. Including eating and cooking utensils and condiments. There was beach gear galore for adults and children!!!! Even with the street construction off of Gulf Blvd this was a lovely retreat. I fully recommend staying here. There was ample parking and the beach access is super close. The pool was not over crowded and there was staff on the grounds in case an issue arose but you never felt bombarded or watched even though we stayed on a holiday weekend. I hope this comments helps any of you vacationers on that endless search for something good! Alexandra

The condo was beautiful! Much larger than it looks in the pictures and so well appointed. The beach cart, coolers, and chairs made our time at the beach even more enjoyable and the grounds were lovely. We really enjoyed the pool. We would definitely recommend this property! We were very pleased with the condo. It was very clean and bigger than the pictures show. The Florida room had a great view - loved all the windows. We loved the heated pool, fishing from the pier, and playing at the beach. Everything was convenient and well kept. We can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful condo, very quiet and very clean. The sun room has a nice view of the pool and intercoastal. The kitchen is well stocked. Michael is prompt and the rental was easy to book. I highly recommend this unit. We added an extra night to our stay we liked it so much. We have family in the area and will certainly check to see if this unit is available for future visits.

We loved the condo. It was as nice and clean as all the pictures. The kitchen and bathroom are bigger than they seem in pictures. It was a wonderful time to be at the beach. We would stay there again.

The condo was BEAUTIFUL!!!. It's so beachy and clean! Every morning my daughter loved looking out the window to see the pool! The pool was her favorite part!! With a 3 yr old, having the beach so close was wonderful. I even loved being on the intercoastal side, becuase you had the evening sun on the pool and not the hot morning and afternoon sun. We loved staying there!!!! Thanks again!!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. The pool was beautiful and large. The landscape around the building was tropical and well maitained. Plenty of grills to use all over the property. Loved going down to the dock each night to fish or watch the dophins swim by. The beach is a short walk and easily accessable on mostly paved private walkway. The condo is clean and decorated attractively. Overall great experience.
