Our newly and elegantly furnished home comfortably sleeps up to 4 people with two queen beds. There is a flat panel LCD television with pay movie and game service, free high speed wireless internet access, CD Player, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker.
The Resort at Squaw Creek is ideally situated at the base of Squaw Valley USA, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. In the beginning of 2006 the resort completed a $55 million renovation. You will have access to an exclusive on- property ski-in/ski-out chair lift accessing Squaw Valley USA's world-class ski terrain, and valet ski service.
There are also numerous activities available to you at the resort; ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, three heated pools, indoor/outdoor Jacuzzis, complete indoor health and fitness center, a full service spa, championship Robert Trent Jones Jr. 18 hole golf course, shopping, and five restaurants. The Resort at Squaw Creek, offers a year-round, fully supervised children's program that offers kids an exciting place to play, whether for a short evening or a full day.

This is my first time renting from an owner and it was a great experience. All the units have standard furnishings so I knew what to expect. I received a great deal by renting directly from the owner. The resort is truly a luxury resort and I can't wait to go back again. Also the owner let me do a late check out so we had a full day there. Sheila
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Good price & Squaw Creek is nice. The drawback is that this is a condo owned by a private owner & not Squaw Creek thus the normal Squaw Creek level of service is not provided. This translates to NO daily room cleaning, fresh sheets/towels, soap/shampoo, coffee refresh, vacuum cleaner, clean dishes, or someone to do a basic bathroom tidy up. Our family would certainly stay at Squaw Creek in the future, yet not in this condo. The price is very enticing, yet the catch is the lack of basic resort housekeeping and services.
Owner response:Dear Guest, As it was stated (in bold letters) in your rental agreement and in your confirmation e-mail there is no daily housekeeping provided only departure cleaning is provided. However housekeeping will pick up garbage on a daily basis. As a result, we are able to pass on lower prices to our customers. If we would provide daily housekeeping we would have to charge same rates as the Resort which are generally 30% higher. However for an extra fee you are able to receive daily housekeeping services. Also all of guests have access to exact same amenities as hotel guests. Thank you again for your business and I apologize for your misunderstanding of rental terms.
