"Seas the Day"-5 BR-Private Pool - Popular Seagrass
Year Purchased: 2006
Why the Owner Chose Seagrass
We began looking into owning a condo or house in the Navarre Beach area of Florida. We were told of an area east of Panama City around Port St. Joe, Florida. We were shown Cape San Blas, Florida and fell in love with the laid back, family atmoshpere. We now own a house on Cape San Blas and have it on the rental market, and hope one day to retire to the area.
Owner's Map of Seagrass
My husband and I grew up in Bristol, TN/VA area. We were high school sweethearts and always loved the coast. We loved our annual trips to the Gulf Coast of Florida. We have been married for 25 years and have three children and would always love our vacation times on the Panhandle of Florida.

We were there May 2010 for our first vacation in 3 years. We had actually rented another house and the ac was not working so we were moved to this location and we LOVED it! What a wonderful misfortune we had. It really worked out to our benefit. Seas the Day was so much nicer that our original house. The view of the sunset is beautiful (I hope no one builds in front of this house for a while). A house facing west is the way to go! The decor has a very cool feel to it and is updated and beautiful. House was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The kitchen is the best I have ever seen. They have everything you could possibly need. Bedrooms are really nice and roomy and beautifully decorated. The only drawback is the stairs. If stairs are a problem for someone in your group it could be an issue. The pool is wonderful as well. We enjoyed taking our dogs for walks around the neighborhood and on the beach (make sure you take baggies to clean up after your pets). Saint Joseph Peninsula State Park is a great place to spend the day between going to the beach and the bay. If you bike, you can ride your bike from Seas the Day all the way to the park via a bike lane on the bay side of the road. If you have to eat out, there is one local restaurant that we did not get to try called Cone Heads or you can drive about 30 mins. over to Appalachicola for diner or to Port St. Joe to one of the restaurants. We actually bought great local seafood and we ate in 6 out of the 7 nights we stayed. We did not want to leave this house! There are a couple of convienence stores nearby that have a pretty good selection but you will probably need to stock up on essentials before or on your way. There is a really nice grocery store in Port Saint Joe if you would rather shop after you arrive. Cape San Blas is our new yearly destination and I hope we will get to enjoy Seas The Day again. We know you will enjoy it too!
