The fabulous drawing room has a lovely aspect to the front of the property. Retaining all the original features, 2 large sash windows, Georgian fireplace and cornices, with a large dining recess that has a sofa bed at the back of the room, allowing some privacy for the guest.
The kitchen is fully fitted and has a delightful outlook over Edinburgh's skyline, a walk-in pantry and a table to eat at. There is a wonderful old fashioned 'Edinburgh Pulley' for drying your washing on.
The stunning master bedroom,with lovely high ceilings has an en-suite with shower and toilet.
The 2nd double bedroom is spacious ,bright and looks out to the front of the property.
There is a bathroom with bath and shower over it and toilet.
The property has the added bonus of a lift as well as the main stair.

This rental not far from Stockbridge was perfect in every detail. Clean, user-friendly, thoughtfully laid out and with every convenience you'd need for a stay away from home to be just right. Flat not only beautifully presented but fresh as a daisy. Also right in the centre of city, walking distance to Princes Street, Stockbridge, Queen Street Gardens - cafes, shops and stylish eating places on every corner. I loved staying here. What a great place for a weekend break! Well positioned near the centre, very fairly priced, particularly well appointed and properly serviced too, this flat has everything you need and much more to get the most out of a city break in Edinburgh. We (a family group of 5 adults) stayed at 20 Howe Street for 5 nights over New Year and would highly recommend it. . The apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable and the location is ideal. Although all the shops and restaurants are well within walking distance the flat was quiet and peaceful. Helen was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Pictures of apartments are generally not accurate but I must say that my husband and I were incredibly impressed upon entering this property. It was absolutely gorgeous! Well maintained and much bigger than we expected with many more amenities than you usually receive in a holiday apartment. We travelled with our baby and were so pleased that one of the rooms was incredibly quiet and ideal for our child. Additionally the center of town is only five minutes walking distance! Really enjoyed our stay in this stylish apartment. Clean, bright, spacious and warm with all modern facilities. Great Georgian location with easy access to wonderful shops in George Street and very near to all tourist attractions. Perfect for a wedding at George Hotel. Supermarket close by and plenty of good bars and restaurants. Charming and helpful owners. Highly recommended and can't wait to return to 20 Howe Street. Très bel appartement situé dans le centre d'Edimbourg tout en étant dans un lieu calme. Bars et attractions touristiques facilement accessibles à pied. L'appartement est très bien équipé et les deux salles de bain sont appréciables lorsqu'on part en groupe. A savoir que tout le nécessaire est fourni à votre arrivée (Thé, café, savon...) et que l'appartement etait trés propre. Merci à Helen pour avoir trouvé une solution à notre arrivée tardive. A savoir que le canapé convertible est conseillé pour deux enfants mais trop petit pour accueillir 2 adultes.
