Beach Haven Gardens house description

Due to Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the downstairs unit needed to be completely renovated. We loved the improvements so much, we renovated the 2nd floor! New Custom Kitchen with Granite Counters, Stainless Appliances, new floors, New Bathroom, New Beds, New Furniture, decor, ETC.

**We are also adding WiFi for Summer 2014**

VERY CLEAN! We have rented 100% of summer weeks for the past 12 summers and have had excellent feedback. Please see some of the comments below.

GREAT LOCATION! (The map has been disabled on this site because it shows my house on the wrong street.....sorry!) Located in the Beach Haven Gardens section of Long Beach Island, our house is an oceanside duplex--you do not have to cross busy Long Beach Boulevard to get to beach. We are situated 12 houses from the beach. We're in a quiet neighborhood, yet convenient to everything! We're within a few blocks of Howards Restaurant, Woody's Burgers, WaWa, Meltdown Ice Cream Parlor, Marvel's Bakery, California Pizza, & Terrace Tavern and just one mile to Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Mini-Golf, Thundering Surf Water Park, & lots of great shopping.

We have 2 units for rent (upstairs or downstairs)-- each features the following: 3 bedrooms to sleep six people (1Q, 4T), bathroom, full kitchen & dining area, deck with picnic table, central air, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 2 tvs/dvds, outside shower, driveway parking, 2 free beach badges per unit (kids under 12 and seniors are free).

We are on the OCEANSIDE of the island's main road--no worries about crossing busy Long Beach Boulevard to get to beach. Howard's Restaurant, Terrace Tavern, Woodies Burgers, California Pizza, Marvel's Deli, Meltdown Ice Cream Parlour, and Wawa are all within 3 blocks for our house. Fantasy Island Amusement Rides, Thundering Surf Waterpark, Mini Golf, and shopping all 1 mile south. Acme Supermarket is 1 mile north. Please contact me with any questions.                       Year Purchased: 2001

                      About the owner: My husband and I both grew up living in New York/New Jersey and loved visiting LBI with our families. It was dream come true to buy our beach house there in 2001. A year later, we were transferred to live in Georgia. Since then, we have been able to enjoy our beach house for a few weeks each June, and then rent it out for the remaining months of the summer. We have been so fortunate to have so many terrific families that rent our house each year...some have been renting from us for as long as we've owned the house.

                      The Unique Benefits at this House:
                      If you are one of our tenants, you will be given the opportunity to renew a week or more in our house before we open it to new tenants. We are fortunate to have many of our tenants come back year after year! We open our calendar to new families in early January. If you're interested in booking for Summer 2015, please mark your calendar to contact me in early January.
