My family and I stayed at this beautiful house on the water for a week at the end of June and it was the perfect getaway. The home was spotless, the grounds were amazing and the town is perfect. We kayacked daily, fished, cooked wonderful meals and enjoyed the serene bay views and sunsets. We plan to return next year and hopefully for years to come. Liz and her family are terrific hosts and they made us feel quite at home. I don't usually enjoy travelling, but the sumptuous bed linens, updated and fully stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms throughout the house made me feel like I was home, but without the distractions of daily life and with the luxury of a truly amazing vacation.

The house is just as shown in pictures & hospitality is just as described in reviews - wonderful! The house's setting makes you relax -and there is fun for everyone (we brought girls ages 6 and 12 and there were outdoor/water toys at the house - the kayaks were a hit!). Nothing was needed, and Liz was wonderful. THANK YOU for sharing your home!

I've just returned from a long weekend at the cottage with my parents and husband. We could not have asked for a better location - wonderful views, lovely spacious garden, peaceful neighborhood. We spend many hours with a cool drink in hand just watching the ferries and boats go back and forth! As other reviewers have mentioned, you really don't need to bring much with you, Liz has made sure the place is well-equipped.

This lovely home as so comfortable it was like visiting an old friend. Owners have thought of everything...all you need to do is bring your bathing suit, wine (which you can pick up along Rt 25) and food and you're set. Views are amazing during the day and at night see all the stars like you've never seen them befor. Great escape whether you live in NY city or far away. We definitely plan to visit again!

I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful water-front property. The house has a very warm and welcoming feeling. The views of the water and surrounding landscapes are absolutely breathtaking. It was very easy to lose track of time while watching the ferries travel to and from Shelter Island in the distance. I recommend visiting the local wineries and downtown Greenport. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. They made the entire renting process seamless. I plan on returning soon and would recommend staying here.

What a great house! We've rented for two summers now and we consider it our (rented) home away from home. The view is unmatched and it's just peaceful to watch the SI ferry go by. Also a great location between Greenport and Southold. The owner is super helpful and friendly, and the house is just right for a small family esp with kids. Can't wait for this summer!

Everything about this home is wondeful. The location is great. There isn't much traffic on the street and the yard is always immaculate. Inside everything is in excellent condition. Liz and her family will make you feel at home immediately. I just made reservations for 2 weeks in June, and that will be 3rd visit to this lovely home and the North Fork. Greenport is a great little town with lots to do. I took my first kayak trip on one of the kayaks that are provided, and have been hooked ever since. This home and its owners are all you could ask for. Simply the best!!!

This is a great place to stay. We've been here twice and really love it. It is on a residential street so it is nice and quiet. perfect for a summer getaway. And it is close to town, farmstands and vineyards. There is nothing better than taking a book and sitting overlooking the private beach, listening to the waves and watching the ferry go back and forth - truly relaxing. And the best part is that it has a huge grass lawn in back for my 5 year old daughter to run and play all day. And she especially loved resting in the hammock.

We loved this house. The beach front location was perfect. We particularly enjoyed using the kayaks each evening and loved watching the Ospreys fishing for their supper. The house has all the equipment you could wish for and is very clean and comfortable. The village of Greenport is beautiful, with free outdoor music events during the summer. We would definitely recommend this place for a holiday.
