well...i left a review, try again! This is a great condo, well kept, you'll have help for any problem you might have quickly, has everything you'll need there. We left a nice piece of wood and a stool for the high beds, really helped, was the only problem we had with 2 older guys. We loved being in Princeville area, has great trails close by to ocean bluff to watch for whales, a nice walk to shopping center, or walk to Westin hotel where they have a very nice coffee bar, we indulged ourselves there alot. We liked being in a neighborhood where it feels very safe and everyone was willing to help us anytime we needed them and they did. when we had an emergency with my older brother-in-law everyone came to check on us and give us a hug, wouldn't get that in a hotel. Try the ziplining in princeville, you'll have a blast! Try the horseback riding they advertise along the ocean, I wish we'd done that one instead of princeville. it was nice but I think the other would have been a more interesting ride. The Waimea canyon has a very winding road but it's worth seeing the canyons, go early morning for best views. Waimea has the best beer battered shrimp i've ever had at the shrimp Market, I think it was called, just a little outdoor place on the main road. Better than the high cost meal at the restaurant near St Regis hotel, skip it, not worth your money. Other than snorkeling at Po'ipu beach, which was great but go in on the west side where it's sandy, not where the children's area is, very rocky. we enjoyed going to Anini beach the best for close by swimming even tho the snorkeling isn't the best. overall, enjoyed the slow pace of kauai, slow speed limits beat oahu any day, the local people are very nice and helpful. I guess what a person gives is what they'll get, we received alot and love this island. Will definitely be back, plan on longer than 2 months down the road! Thanks Ken & chloe for sharing your home with us, it was great!

Left on 11/14/2011 for a stay in November 2011 I could go on and on, writing a long and wordy review, but how about I just list the things we loved about this place: •Great location, close to some great beaches and scenery. •Cheapest price we found among similar homes. •Lots of extras: snorkeling equipment (3 complete sets), boogie boards, beach towels, umbrella, cooler, backpacks, wifi, full kitchen with spices & utensils, and more! •Wonderful owners. Ken & Chloe did everything they could to ensure we had a good stay in their home and a great visit in Kauai. They gave us restaurant recommendations, sightseeing spots, and favorite hikes including photos. They even had a gift basket on the table when we arrived full of nice and useful things. We had 6 people in our group and there's only 2 bedrooms, so we took turns on the couch's hideaway bed. In my opinion, it was one of the most comfortable hideaway beds I've slept on, and I've had my fare share of hideaway bed nights! It did feel just a tiny bit cramped in the living room area with that many people staying in the home, but it wasn't bad once we arranged the furniture to maximize the space. We're already planning our next vacation to Kauai, and we would definitely stay in this home again! Thanks Ken and Chloe!

This was a fantastic! What a great place to stay with all amenities, and close proximity to all of the North Shore of Kauai. Very quiet, and the home decor is just fabulous! Gives a real sense of island feel all through the house! Definitely clean, organized, and overall relaxing to stay in. We will probably rent again at this location.

Thank you Ken and Chloe for renting us your condo. Everything we great! We loved the location in Princeville. The condo was well equipped for the kitchen, the beach etc... The bed was really comfortable too. I can tell that you have taken lots of care in keeping the condo in good condition. Thank you for the really detailed driving directions and suggestions with things in the area. I am glad you pointed out the pastries at Foodland - they were awesome! We watched the sunset from St. Regis per your suggestion too. We have beautiful pictures to remember everything by and we can't wait to come back!

We spent 10 nights at Ken and Chloe's townhouse.Three adults and two small grandkids. The amenities were excelent. Kids enjoyed the pool. Grandparents (69 and 63) found the climb up and down to the nearby beachs somewhat taxing. The 6 yr old granddaughter managed OK but we had to carry the one and a half year old. As a consequence we found anini beach to be our beach of choice and didn't mind the travel there and back (by car). All and all an enjoyable vacation.

The condo was perfect! Two very nice bedrooms, baths, full kitchen with everything you need. It was great! We lost power a couple of times because of bad t-storms and we tripped the breaker once (don't run 2 hairdryers at the same time!!) but on-site manager came right over to help us restore things (we couldn't find the breaker box!). Beach access is do-able but a pretty good walk, steep climb and not a great beach on the bottom. But the condo is very close to numerous other beaches good for swimming and snorkeling. And there was a closet full of all be beach paraphenalia you might want for playing, snorkeling etc. The grounds around the condo were beautifully kept up. If/when we return to Kauai, we would definitely stay in this condo again. Great value! The only "negative" is the pool at the complex was very green...hopefully a temporary situation. It didn't matter to us since we wouldn't have used it anyhow, but other guests with young children might be disappointed. OWNER RESPONSE: Thank you so much for your comments, and we are thrilled we could be a part of your wonderful visit to Kauai. We spoke with the Puamana manager about the pool water and learned they were unfortunately having a water chemistry problem during your visit, the pool water was completely replaced to address that and has returned to it's normal crystal clear condition! Mahalo for making us aware of this, Ken and Chloe

We stayed at this lovely condo. The owner was so kind to direct us to the best restaurants and activities. The locations for all of the parking and instruction were clearly defined. He also gave us some good tips for flying out. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and the staff so helpful. Everything was there...snorkles and beach chairs and towels. You just have to show up!! So easy.

You never know what you're getting into when you book sight unseen. But all of the reviews gave glowing reports, and the price was right. Then I contacted Ken about the rental and he was very helpful and accommodating. So, how did it work out? Perfect. Everything was just right. We loved the place, it was nicely kept up, in a great location. The beds are comfortable, the furniture is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and there's a great lanai where you can have a morning cup of coffee and enjoy the quiet. Will we come back to Kauai? Absolutely. Where will we stay? No worry about guessing anymore. We're staying here.

What a great place to spend a month in paradise. My husband and I loved this rental in Princeville, it was a perfect location. We loved the north shore and it was so easy to go all up and down the north shore and it wasn't too far from the bigger Kapaa. It was within walking distance from many things; to the great anini Beach and the grocery store the other direction. Ken and Chloe had everything there that you could think of to need right down to the pineapple corer/slicer (coolest thing). It was so nice to not have to pack in our suitcase snorkels and gear and things for the beach, they had it all. We miss the tradewinds that keep it a great temperature all the time there and listening to the waves at night from our bedroom there. It is like we are homesick to go back. Thanks Ken and Chloe for making our vacation so relaxing and great with your rental!!

Beautiful/spacious/peaceful We had a lovely vacation at this extremely clean and well-equipped/spacious/ beautiful and quiet end unit. We 4 seniors felt very safe and we all appreciated the fact that this one-story unit had no stairs and no condo above us. The heavenly scent of yellow gingers and pua-keni-keni in the flower beds outside the door breezed throughout the cool condo with the tradewinds. The location was perfect with a grocery store less than a mile away and just a short walk to the beach. It is also less than 5 miles from andy Irons beautiful home town of Hanalei. Thank you Ken and Chloe for being so gracious and for permitting us to check out late for no additional charge and for showering us with a lot of aloha! We can't wait to return and highly recommend this vacation rental

5 of 5 Another beautiful, relaxing, day in paradise. Ken and Chloe are professional hosts. They did some detailed planning and equipped the kitchen with just about everything one would need to whip-up meals at home and save money. Nearby Hanalei has a farmer's market and a great fish market so we did not want for fresh island bounty. I love to cook and this kitchen was really good compared to some other vacation rental kitchens I have been in. What's more, the comfortable condo is walking distance to (1) the beach, (2) The Westin Pool Bar for fancy happy hour cocktails, (3) the grocery store and a very close drive to the St.Regis Hotel where you can see a sunset to knock your socks off...but don't wear socks...wear sandals-- it's too nice. All this and so, what more can one ask? How about a gorgeous view of the skyline and palm trees from the bed in the master bedroom?...Check, How about a sunny lanai with chirping song birds to accompany your morning coffee? ...Check! How about another, private and shaded lanai off the master bedroom for sharing romantic candle-lite and a nite cap with your honey?... Check. How about a nice gas grill to cook all that gorgeous fresh ahi? Check! Well, it's all here and there's even high speed internet access. The condo was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. It even had great beach towels! We were also happy to find back packs, beach chairs, snorkels and all kinds of good stuff to use in the "equipment locker". We used the backpack to carry our lunch for our hike. One thing.. please don't forget your sturdy "hiking sandals" or shoes to walk in. The path to the beach is on a hill and it can be slippery. You will want more than your flip-flops to protect your feet. Red dirt is everywhere so, be careful not to track it in the house. Just leave your shoes outside. Easy enough. I highly recommend this location and these hosts.

"Fabulous Vacation!" This was the most fantastic vacation ever. The condo was beautiful and quiet. It had all the amenities of home from bath towels to large beach towels. We enjoyed all the beach toys, boogie boards, cooler, and noodles. It was so nice to come "home" in the evening and have a nice quiet dinner and family movie night in the cozy livingroom. We had everything we needed plus some. Thank you Ken and Chloe for letting us rent your condo, we truely had a wonderful time on the island and in the condo. You were both so nice and helpful. All your e mails and phone calls to ensure we had everything we needed were so incredibly appreciated.

We had such a wonderful time in your Princeville home. We explored all areas of the the island and the North Shore was our favorite! We loved waking up in your beautiful bedroom with the birds making music and the lovely natural light. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful beaches and sights around the island and then coming home to a peaceful place that felt like home. We can't wait to visit again!

This is my 3rd trip to Kauai, the last two at your beautiful home, it is very well appointed and feels like home. This time I brought my friend and we are both over 70 and find your home very convenient, safe and quiet. Susan the complex manager was very helpful, showed us where to pick fruit and gave us a special parking slip when she saw my cane. All the Plumeria trees burst into bloom while we were there, it was so beautiful. I can't wait for my next visit, I think I'll stay 2 weeks next time!

Aloha - (Hi) Age 9Thank you for letting us stay at this cute condo. We got here on Saturday and leaving on Tuesday to South of the island. Before we go we will go on a 22 mile hike. We wedged a stick in the tree last year and hope it's there this year. We also might go ziplining. You need to be 80 pounds. I only weigh 64 pounds. I will need to put rocks in my pants. Make sure you go to Bubba's Burger it is off the hook. Also get some shaved Ice. Happy New Year :)

Dear brent & Peggy,Happy new Year! Thank you so much for such great accomadations. We all loved your place, from the moment we walked in. Great furniture, spacious rooms and everthing we could need, even on an emergency. Your thoughtfulness in taking care of every detail was noticed: from the mightlite in the bathroom- so that the kid's wouldn't be scared at night and could find their way, to providing snorkeling gear for them, even anti-fogger for the masks! As well as having salt & pepper, flashlights, a calender and best of all, cd's, books and games; if we had the time for them. I even noticed the colander in the kitchen had pineapples in the design as well as the silverware. (Wish I knew where to find them). The people in your "neighborhood" were all so friendly too. we hung out at the beaches, were so fortunate to see a monk seal sleeping on the beach and best of all: We got to meet the artist "Wyland" at his gallery - first on Christmas week at his gallery on The Big Island then we flew here for New Years and saw him again. Even he couldn't believe it! It was great to see him painting in person. We will difinitely be back to Kauai in December 2009 God willing and in the meantime will recommend your wonderful place to our friends. Thank you for everything!

You've done such a great job of thinking about everything your guests would need and staying here made our visit so complete. We did buy some great fish at the Dolphin Fish Market and enjoyed cooking it and also having a plentiful supply of fresh Hawaiian fruit on hand at all times. One of our favorite things was watching stars from your back lanai in your comfy chairs. waking up to the sound of rains and unique bird sounds wa also fun. the beds were so comfortable. The decor is lovely! We made some great memories and are grateful for your hospitality. if we're blessed to come back again, we'd also be blessed to stay here again. thanks so much!Mahalo!

Our family of five just returned from Kauai and had a wonderful time. The accomodations are exactly as shown. Our only problem was since there is no air conditioning we were a little warm during the night. Living in Las Vegas we are accustomed to air conditioning. Everything you need is at the condo so it's easy to feel right at home. We had a great time and hope the next vacationers do too!

They are always willing to give travel advice and openly share the cautions of the water. Our favorite activities were snorkelling at the Tunnels, and Anini beach; experiencing the beauty (and red, red diret) of the canyon; soaking in the sun, expeicially at Hanalei Bay; and taking in the beautiful colors of this island as we travelled on the well-paved highways. This is one of the most memorable holidays we have experienced! Thank-you! Mahalo!P.S. Ask Oba, the grounds keeper, about his book! Cute momento!

We will be staying here again on our next trip back to the garden Island.

So many great ways to spend your days here, and your condo is so conveniently located. We liked the Kalalua, snorkled at many beaches, zip-lined, kayaked, and our daughter gained diver certification. Thank you very much for your wonderful condo. Princeville was a wonderful central location. From here we were able to easily access some of nature's jewels like Tunnels, Ke'e. And we could get there in time to get parking. Thanks for the extras in the Lanai. I am a non-swimmer and the boogie board helped greatly. I was able to do Tunnels for the first time. I especially liked the town of Hanalei. Hanalei has a unique charm about it. We even saw Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) at Calypso's. Second day here we did Na Pali Catameran. They are fantastic. They leave from Hanalei Bay. They stroll down towards/along the Na Pali coast. They even go into sea caves before stopping at a nice pool to snorkel. Did the Inter-Island Helicopter tour. These guys take you up Waimea Canyon, around Na Pali and stop at a nice waterfall. They fly door off. Ver, very fun. Once again, Thanks, Mahalo :)

Great place and an enjoyable stay. Our 4th time in Princeville though our 1st with a child. Anini beach is great for kids. Restaurants: Sunday Brunch: At the Princeville Hotel. Expensive but the food and amazing setting make it worthwhile. Cafe polynesia and Hanalei Gourmet great for lunch. hanalei Dolphin: Still the best restaurant on this side, great food everytime and a wonderful selection of fresh fish. If you like sushi, behind the hanalei Dolphin there is a fish market that makes fresh rolls everyday. Be there by 12:30 because tese go quickly.

We loved your condo - beautifully appointed - Thanks for all the extras - A wonderful "Neighborhood". We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Can recommend Kalypso in Hanalei and Paradise Cafe - CJ's - one good dinner, one not so good.

Dear Brent & Peggy, Happy New Year! We had a fabulous time at your lovely Kauai getaway! It is so comfortable and convenient! Thank you for your hospitality and all of the wonderful extras you left in the condo. We enjoyed numerous beaches, restaurants, and the canyon while we were here. We would recommend the Hanalei Dolphin.... even on New Year's Eve! Thanks again for opening this lovely place to use so we could go to my brother's wedding! Mahalo

Brent & Peggy, We had a wonderful time here. We loved your Bridges Kauai Getaway! We shared times together as a family that we haven't done for a long time. We saw turtles and Hawaiian Monk Seaals at Queen's Bath, walked so far into the ocean at Hanalei Pavilion Beach, golfed the Princeville Course and watched Chitti Chitti Bang Bang. The girls loved the pool and would difinitely recommend Wyllie Beach for your morning stroll and finding seashells. Thank you so much for opening this beautiful spot to our list of favorite places to go. . . Mahalo & Aloha!

Dear Brent & Peggy, We had a truly wonderful time here in Kauai and loved staying at your comfy condo! It was very peaceful & relaxing. We were blessed with beautiful weather (except for Sunday when we hiked down to Hideaways beach in the rain!) Some of our favorites were eating at Postcards Cafe in Hanalei & The Blossoming Lotus in Kapa'a. For snorkeling, Ke'e had lots of turtles & the Princeville Beach was nice too. The Hanalei Day Spa was amazing-we recommend the Ayurvedic Tandem message. Papayas had fresh organic food & the Farmers Market was a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to be back very soon!

Dear Brent & Peggy, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. This was our third family trip to Kauai. We found your home to be very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and the managment and neighbors were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed many beaches, an airplane ride, snorkeling, surfing, motorcross race, a concert and our favorite Ko'loa Plantation days. We were happy that Hurricane Daniel just brought us some rain. We hope to return next summer!
