Coldwell Banker (deepcreekrealty) can be reached on 800-769-5300, and they are open on Sunday. At their website, in the blue box in the left margin, click Search Vacation Rentals. In the new window, under Vacation Home List, use the drop down box for Select PropID--our home is 492-Laurel Highlands, then click the Show button. Please notice that in the description section (once you've reached our page) that there is a virtual tour and additional pictures. The prices are the same in the VRBO and Coldwell Banker site. We are in the central lake area. We are about 1 1/2 mile from the State Park. We are within walking distance of the SilverTree which has a marina and rents several types of boats--so it is very convenient.
Please read on if you would like a full description of Laurel Highlands:
You have arrived at the Lodge, a stunning log home. The main level greets you with knotty pine walls, hardwood maple floors, a stone fireplace, a Bose surround-sound entertainment system, comfortable furniture, and a gorgeous filtered view of Deep Creek Lake.
Join one another on the decks, living room or spacious kitchen and dining room. Downstairs you will find lots of roomy seating around another stone fireplace, where you can enjoy a big-screen television, a second Bose surround-sound system, a pool table, a game table, and ping-pong. A yard and patio are just outside the door.
The Lodge’s bedrooms and loft are decorated with warm and comfy quilt bedspreads. The king-size loft bedroom commands a partial view of the lake (when the leaves are down) and the hillside behind; there you will also find one of the queen-size hideaway couches.
The two master bedrooms and the loft enjoy private bathrooms (the master bedrooms have over-size Jacuzzi tubs), and the other two bedrooms share a two-room bath. You will have all the amenities you would expect at the Lodge: patios and decks, a well-equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill, hot tub, televisions, VCR’s and DVD players, board games, high-speed internet connection, and plenty of parking.
Once you have explored the Lodge, you will want to cross the street and follow the downhill path through the trees and natural vegetation to the lake (about 100 yards) where you can enjoy the serenity of the lakefront and your private boat slip.
Winter can find you skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at Wisp, ice fishing on the lake, and many, many other activities. In the Summer, you will find boating, golf, and horseback riding, just to name a few. All year round, you will discover Deep Creek’s beauty of nature, filled with natural rhododendrons, laurel, and towering trees.
Deep Creek Lake, Maryland boasts beautiful State Parks, the new Adventure Center high atop the scenic mountains overlooking the lake, and the Mountain Coaster at Wisp. Whatever your pleasure -- boating, golfing, hiking, fishing, reading, cooking, or catching up on crafts and puzzles -- you will discover time and activities just for yourself. Deep Creek’s nearby shopping, restaurants, and movies are geared for the pace you seek in a perfect vacation.
Wake up under soft quilts, count the stars and watch the moon in the hot tub, float on the lake on lazy Summer days, bundle up and enjoy Autumn’s colors, go to Wisp and watch the skiers race the Winter slopes at Wisp, and observe the awakening of Spring on long hikes.
Festivals, fairs, and musical entertainment are scheduled throughout the year! Laurel Highlands, coupled with The Villa at Laurel Cove right across the street enables upwards of 35 guests to come together for special family events or large vacation groups.
