This new (2006) luxury lakefront home is Lake Cumberland Resort's largest rental home. It features over 3800 square feet of air conditioned space plus approximately.1500 square feet of covered and open air decking.
Our home features five bedrooms (three king-size, one queen, two full, one sleeper sofa and one crib) and four and a half baths.
The two-story great room features a gas fireplace with stone surround and an amazing view of the lake.
Relax on the front covered wrap-around porch featuring rocking chairs and a swing. Or, opt for the 14 X 26 rear screen porch with cathedral ceiling and recessed lights. The rear porch offers a direct view to the lake and is equipped with ceiling fan, eating area for 6 and seperate sitting area.
The master suite located on the main level boasts a jacuzzi tub with separate shower and its own private deck. Adults and children both rave about the finished lower level recreation room complete with wet bar, mini refrigerator, billiard table, foosball, ping pong, bar with 6 stools, and a poker table. There is also a sectional sofa with a big screen TV for movies and sports!
There is a large collection of games and toys for toddlers/children and even adults for evening entertainment. Step out of the lower level recreation room to another large screened porch featuring a six person hot tub and benches for relaxing. A second patio on the lower level boasts a swing facing the lake as well as a hammock for an afternoon nap!
The house is equipped with whole house stereo/CD player with separate volume controls in each critical area. For smaller children, a second floor loft features a TV with VCR/DVD and is stocked with Disney movies as well as Nintendo 64. Babies/toddler's needs will also be met as there is a crib, high chair and toddler booster seat, double stroller and many toys/books and magazines.
Our home is located approximately 300 yards from the boat ramp(check for availablity) and pool(seasonal) and has a large driveway available for boat/jet ski and multiple car parking. It is very easy to park your boat in our driveway and move it back and forth to the boat ramp!
Lake Cumberland Resort, Kentucky's finest gated community, offers three swimming pools (one is walking distance from our house),on-site restaurants, tennis court, children's play area, and a country store for basic supplies including fuel. The resort is situated on a 1000 acre peninsula adjacent to the Daniel Boone National Forest- the perfect place to explore on an ATV.

Our family of 8 just returned from this beautiful home after a long weekend. Everything in the house was as advertised and all was well maintained. We had plenty of room to spread out and lots for all ages to enjoy. The only negative was the distance to the boat launch. Was a long, windy, hilly drive. When the ramp in the resort area is completed that problem will be solved. I we return to this area we would stay in this home again.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

I cannot say anything else about this house. The house is well kept. The owner and the rental procedure was easy to work with. Each of our kids with their families were able to have their own bedroom and bathroom. It was fabulous. We did have some problems with the wi-fi, which if it was up to me and my husband would not have been a concern. But since two of our children's spouses rely on the internet for their work, it was a concern. We just had to fiddle with it a little and it would start working. Really it was not a major problem. If you want a nice vacation house with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood with a swimming pool close by and lots of toys for your small children or grandchildren and even your bigger kids (pool table, video games, foosball table) this is your house!!!!!

We rented this home for a family vacation. It was a half way point for Indiana family and North Carolina family. We couldn't have been happier with the home. Very clean and modern... roomy and comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a Cumberland Vacation. The only drawback was the distance to the marina. Everything else was better than great!
