Right outside the back door you have one of the best "fishing holes" you can find at Wild Dunes. This cottage has been completly renovated with beautiful granit counters in the kitchen and baths, hardwood floors in the main living area and master bedroom, and stainless steel appliances. The furnishing are all new (to include a down filled sofa) and of exceptional quality.
This cottage has three , nice sized bedrooms. The master has a queen-size bed, private bath and overlooks a peaceful lagoon. A luxurious feather bed has been added along with 350 thread count cotton sateen sheets. The other two bedrooms, also with feather beds, share a darling nautical bath. Both guest bedrooms are on the front of the house. A queen-size bed in one and two twin beds in the other.
The living room and dining room (with a table for six) are both open to the large spacious kitchen, making for easy entertaining. Professionally decorated, this house is a joy to come home to after long days on the beach. It offer a cool retreat on summer days or a cozy place to curl up in front of the fire, away from the chill of Fall and Winter evenings.
The kitchen, which is spacious enough for everyone to join in the cooking, boast all the utensils, appliances, and entertaining pieces you could ask for. All the serving pieces compliment the décor of this lovely cottage.
Staying within the gated community of wild Dunes, affords great relaxation for families of all ages. We also offer the Wild Dunes sportscard that will give you access to all of the amenities that Wild Dunes has to offer (tennis, fittness center, ect) Whether relaxing on the beach, sipping cool, island drinks up at the Grand Pavilion, or strolling along winding nature trails, there is something for everyone!
Once you decide this is the cottage for you, the owners can direct you to the best places to rent bikes, golf carts, umbrellas and chairs. All delivered directly to you doorstep. They have done all the research for the best deals on the island!

This was the perfect place for my family get away. The rooms were just as described, we ate every meal on the screened porch over the inlet and enjoyed the TV/DVD/VCR in each room. We spend a lot of time feeding the turtles and watching the "flying" fish in the lagoon. My kids, although married and grow, still enjoyed all the wildlife in your own back yard. Great weekend and perfect.

We enjoyed every aspect of this rental. It is comfortable, clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon, where fish are constantly jumping and the egrets begin to roost every evening. We fed the many turtles some bread. It's a little trek to the beach, but being mountain dwellers, we only went for walks in the morning and did not carry chairs, etc. A short walk to the Wild Dunes center for a few groceries, the spa, the fitness center, etc. We played the links course. Had a very good Sunday brunch at the marina restaurant. We had a most relaxing week in this lovely cottage. Our westie loved it, too.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Great Re-Do! We stayed at this same house two years ago and while it was very nice then - it is now fantastic! Again, we loved the location. While it rained the entire time (with exception of the last day) staying inside wasn't so bad since the interior has been so beautifully done. Thanks you - we will be back - hopefully sooner than 2 years!

Our stay in Wild Dunes was great. The unit was great and everyone enjoyed it. It was exactly as describe. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a vacation or weekend retreat in the Charleston area.
