Our Four Seasons home is well equipped with many things to do for hours of family fun. Spend a lazy afternoon enjoying unobstructed Lakefront views from the decks.
The Living area has an open airy floor plan with cathedral ceilings. The Living/Dining areas face the lake and the kitchen is fully equipped, Brand New Hardwood Floors in the Living/Dining Area along with a new Rug in the Downstairs Bedroom with the Private Sauna, All Newly painted. This house is immaculately clean, the Hot Tub is always heated awaiting your arrival!
There is a deck the length of the house on the first floor with lawn furniture and a patio with picnic table so that you can enjoy eating dinner by the lake. A charcoal grill is also provided. The Hot Tub is outside on the deck, and overlooks the lake and is heated year round! There is also a deck off the loft area on the second floor as well.
There are many restaurants nearby as well as shopping at the Crossings Outlet Stores, Miniature Golf, 2- 18 hole golf courses, Snowmobile rentals, Ski Camelback, just 10 minutes from the house. Snow Tube, Snowboard, Cross Country Ski, Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides.
Summer- Enjoy a day at Camelbeach Waterpark! Hike, bike, Horseback Riding, bowling, horse drawn carriage rides, paint ball, white water rafting, historic Memorytown. Take a day trip to Bushkill Falls. Take a train ride on the Steamtown Railroad. Visit the city of Stoudsburg and Wilkes Barre, and enjoy live entertainment at Montage Mountain and the Kirby center for the Performing arts, Wachovia Arena, nightlife and fine dining. WalMart Super Center is just 5 minutes from the house. Enjoy a day at Tobyhanna or Lackawanna state park. Harness Racing at Pocono Downs. Take a day trip to the Delaware Water Gap (20 minute ride from the house).
General Information- Since the owners clean and maintain the house and deal with you directly and constantly cater to all your vacation needs, you need not worry about lifting a finger. Everything is new. Sealy Posturepedic King & Queen Size Beds for a great nights sleep! Dogs are welcome with an extra charge! Maximum two dogs. Crated Dogs Please! Must also provide proof of flea and tick treatment.
Beach and Pool located within the community, Spa Activities- This lovely lake is home to some of the finest species of freshwater fish. With "Lunker Size Bass", Chain Pickerel, Perch, Sunfish, Catfish and Carp, just to mention a few. You will find a day of fishing this lake an experience you will not soon forget. So if you are a part time Angler or a die hard fisherman, "A good time can be had by all."
Persons age 16 and older must obtain a valid PA fishing license.
Fire up the grill and have dinner on the outside picnic table with umbrella all while enjoying the Lakefront views. Whip up a batch of Pina Coladas and relax in the outdoor Hot Tub or curl up on the chaise with a novel. Enjoy all the nature that the Poconos has to offer. Enjoy the many species of birds. You may see a family of deer mosey on by while relaxing and taking in the sights.
Golf Information- Enjoy golf at two local 18 hole golf courses just five minutes from the house. So if a day on the course is your idea of a great time then don't forget your Clubs! There is also miniature golf about a 10 minute drive from the house.
Winter Ski Information- Ski Camelback Mountain just a short 10 minute drive with it's many advanced slopes. There are also beginners classes as well. Also, Snow Tubin, Snow Boarding, Cross Country Ski. Enjoy Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides! You may also Ice Skate right in front of the house on the Lake or even ice fish on the lake weather permmitting.
For you avid Fishermen, bring your auger and Ice Fish on the lake! Weather permitting of Course! Ski the big Two at Jack Frost and Big Boulder located about 20 minutes from the house. Along with Camelback Ski and Beach Resort only 10 Minutes Away!

When I started my search for a Pocono rental property I made a checklist. Three to four bedrooms, air conditioning, hot tub, fishing, boating, swimming and close to a casino. After viewing many listings this one appeared to be perfect and it was. It accommodated our whole family, 3 children, their spouses and two grandsons. It offered everything on my checklist plus more. We all had a great time fishing on the lake. I caught the biggest fish, think it was a rock bass. My grandsons loved the peddle boat. I bought them walkie talkies so when they went out on the lake they could stay in touch with us. They thought it was great that they could "Man their own ship." The house was very nicely decorated and cozy. The furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen had more than enough dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc. The house is located less than 10 minutes from the grocery stores, Walmart, KMart and the Mt. Airy Casino. I think my son would say he really liked the casino best. The first night he went he won $20,000. NOW THAT MAKES FOR A REALLY NICE VACATION !!! We also visited Barley Creek Brewery. They take you on a tour and let you sample different beers. It's also a restaurant with really great food. If you go you have to try the beer cheese soup, we all went crazy over it. Our one let down was going to the Amber Steak House for lunch. We chose it becasue my daughter's name is Amber. Big Mistake! Food was cheap but not good and the place smelled like trash. Oh well, you can't win them all. Over all our vacation was perfect. Karen the owner was great to deal with. She answered all my questions in a flash and the rental transaction went very smooth. "Due to family reasons, we didn't have a vacation in 3 years. We now thank God we found Karen and Paul's house. Talk about a serene setting !! We fished, boated, had a cold one on the deck and just back to appreciating each other as a family. Either after a day of intense outdoor activity or simply shopping at the Tannersville Outlets, the hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed sitting by the lake every morning/evening. We not only want to come back next year (and pull more bass from the lake), but we will recommend their house to friends and relative looking for a unique relaxing time. It went by too fast !!

We spent the most relaxing week at Karen and Paul's and are looking forward to staying with them again. From the soft, comfy sofas to the sauna to the rear deck with hot tub overlooking the lake, it's hard not to find a way to relax. The home was immaculate, the decor soothing, everything in working order, and the fish in the lake were more than hungry. Needless to say we made extensive use of the boats, which were both in perfect condition, and did quite a bit of fishing. The listing does not lie when it says a good time will be had by all. My 19 year old daughter could not get enough fishing in, even despite some inclement weather. After experiencing the verocity of several chain pickerel, she began to refer to them as barracuda. We also brought our bikes and enjoyed riding around the lake and surounding neighborhood and also took them to nearby Tobyhanna Park and rode the trails there. One of the nice things about the rental is that it feels like a home, not a rental property that was just thrown together. Karen and Paul were a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating. We look forward to coming back, perhaps in the winter for some ice fishing and skating.

We spent the weekend at Karen & Paul's home and had a wonderful time. This is NO ordinary vacation rental where you may find one king sized bed and perhaps a pot or two in the kitchen. There are three king sized beds and a kitchen stocked beyond belief. Their home is inviting and relaxing. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our next trip back.

We had guests for the holidays who wanted to have a white Christmas so we headed to Karen & Paul's place which I found on this site. The place was wonderful. We found it very clean with a fully equipped kitchen for our holiday dinner. They had even decorated for the season which included a trimmed tree. Our stockings looked right at home on the fireplace. The view of the lake was fantastic, especially when the snow flakes flew on Christmas day. Everything was great with stores and activities close by. This is not just a rental house, it is a comfortable home away from home. Thanks so much!

Our entire weekend getaway was better than we could have hoped. The evenings of rain didn't even dampen our spirits. To your credit, the house and property are wonderfully maintained, and we're sure to be back again soon. Also, the quiet, Lakefront neighborhood is in a word... Beautiful. A group of us went for early morning walks around the lake, and we saw several hawks and deer, which added to the Autumn setting. See you soon!
