Our beautiful split-level, lakefront, townhouse is located on the renowned island of Siesta Key - directly across the street from the acclaimed Siesta Beach (finest, whitest sand in the world) and a ten minute drive to downtown Sarasota! It offers luxury accommodations in a tropical setting - with a garage!
Our spacious (nearly 1400 square feet) two bedroom, two bath, townhouse has a open floor plan, with 10 foot ceilings for that light and airy feeling. It has just been updated with new flooring (ceramic tile/carpet), fresh paint and new furniture within the last two years.
The ample master bedroom Suite (12 by 16 feet) with its lakefront terrace, has a king-size bed, TV, VCR/DVD, walk-in closet, ladies vanity and master bath with make-up mirror and a wall-hung hair dryer.
The guest bedroom (12 by 12 feet) with balcony has two twin beds, TV, VCR, a large eight foot closet and its own bathroom.
Our favorite room is the large and impressive living room with its 10 foot ceilings. It measures 16 by 24 feet and has an attached large terrace that overlooks a peaceful lake. It has a 32 inch TV, VCR/DVD and a Stereo/CD system for your entertainment enjoyment.
The fully equipped Eat-In Kitchen has a breakfast table for four, all modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, coffee maker, toaster and disposal. Additionally it contains the laundry closet with a FULL-SIZE washer and dryer.
The roomy formal dining room seats six comfortably and overlooks the great sunden living room.
Just outside your door - "Our House at the Beach" offers all the amenities you expect and more. Relax and enjoy the sun beside the beautiful turquoise (heated) pool or shade yourself in the large open gazebo/club house. Grab you tennis rackets and enjoy a game of tennis on our two private tennis courts adjacent to the pool.(Or just relax and read on your own terrace overlooking the lake).
Whether it be strolling, just minutes away, in Siesta Village with it multitude of fine restaurants and shops or checking out the arts, antiques and culture in the City of Sarasota, you'll find "Our House at the Beach" a great place as a base for your vacation.
Over 17 miles of bays and keys with 35 miles of white sand beaches, affords water enthusiasts a full range of activities. Long considered Florida's cultural Mecca, Sarasota boasts numerous performing arts centers including its own opera, ballet and symphony along with several outstanding community and professional theatres. Visit the Ringling Museum of Art, Ringling Circus Museum and Van Wezel Performing Arts Center. Nature lovers will enjoy the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, while kids of all ages will love learning more about sea life at the Mote Marine Aquarium. And there is always shopping in St. Armand's Circle!
If you want GOLF - there are more than 40 golf courses to choose from in the area.
But the closeness to the finest beach in the world has to be a top priority. Leave your car in the garage and just walk across the street to the Siesta Key Public Beach located on the famous Crescent Beach. There you will find more tennis courts, a playground for the kids and a great place for lunch, an ice cream store and a unique weekly Drum Circle every Sunday Night at Sunset!
And the Sunsets are spectacular! Keep your eyes peeled and you might spot some friendly Dolphins frolicking in the surf!
