Located on Hebgen Lake, six miles from the world famous Madison River and 16 miles from the town of West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
Our beautiful 4700 square foot log home sits on five acres and offers stunning views of Hebgen Lake and the surrounding mountains.
Our two-story home is built from large hand hewn logs and includes a walkout basement and is beautifully decorated. Five oversized bedrooms allow you to sleep up to 15 people. The master bathroom has an oversized jetted tub and shower.
You will enjoy our large great room with a massive 20 foot rock fireplace, leather couches and chairs. The gourmet kitchen includes a large dining area, professional range and all the equipment and utensils needed to prepare your meals.
There are plenty of ways to relax and unwind while at the cabin. The only way to describe the deck is "huge." There is 1000 square feet of covered decks. You can relax in the hammock or rock away the hours with a good book. The downstairs family room has satellite TV, DVD and video player and lots of puzzles and games.
In addition, there are lots of beach towels to use if you decide to play in the lake. Outside is a large fire pit to enjoy. There is also a horseshoe pit.
If you're looking for a great gathering place for family, a place to have a family reunion or other get together and want the quiet, privacy and beautiful surroundsing that Montana has to offer, then our home is the place for you.
No smoking inside the home; no pets allowed. Phones are provided. You must use a phone card in order to make long distance phone calls.
Rental week is Saturday to Saturday. Check in 4 p.m. Check out 10 a.m.
Area: 16 miles from West Yellowstone (entrance to Yellowstone National Park), approximately 80 miles from Teton National Park, and also from Bozeman, Montana airport (year round). About 12 miles from the West Yellowstone Airport (served by Sky West, a Delta connection and open late May to early October}.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelling more than two months prior to stay, full refund, less $300. If cancelling less than two months prior to stay, 50% of rental amount is forfeited. Taxes and security deposit are returned. Less than one month, total rental amount is forfeited. Taxes and security deposit are returned.

- Full Kitchen: Beautiful, large and fully equipped kitchen. Professional range that is perfect for making killer pancakes. Lots of professional cookware..but will you really be cooking a lot? You'll be on vacation!
- Cooking Utensils Provided: Every size pan that you could possibly need. Also, there are two large crock pots. You can enjoy your day exploring and still come home to a hot meal.
- Refrigerator: Triple door refrigerator with lots of space.
- Dishwasher: And all your dishwashing soap is provided!

- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Gas bbq grill on the deck with all your propane provided.

- Lake View: The lake is right across the road. There are lots of beach towels to take to the lake. Take some deck chairs with you and play or fish in the water. The kids love it!

- Telephone: Telephones are provided but you'll need a phone card to make long distance calls. Your cell phone will work...but we're in Montana and you'll need to find the "perfect" spot for the best reception. Ours is on the front deck.

$3000/week (up to 8 guests)

7 Nights (Saturday to Saturday) required
50% deposit due at time of reservation with remaining balance due 60 days prior to
arrival.A security deposit of $800 is required, due when balance is paid.
This is refundable within 15 days of departure, less $250 cleaning fee.

Owner Description
Steve and I are both retired and loving every minute of it. Although, we often comment that we work harder now than we ever did. Steve is a Cowboy Action Shooter (SASS...single action shooting society). He dresses up like a cowboy, even has a cowboy name (his is Colt Heart) and gets to play with guns. We travel all over the western US where he competes. He loves it, and in fact, has gotten a lot of the family involved in the sport. One of our granddaughter's even received a college scholarship for her shooting ability. I dress up but prefer to be a "gofer" at the matches and help with whatever is needed. We have had the opportunity to meet some incredible people from all over the world who are also involved with the sport.
We built our cabin after bringing our children to the area year after year. It has been a family project and a true labor of love. We have tried to make our home a comfortable, feet up, relaxing place to be. We've tried to think of everything that we would want in a vacation home, even down to having a laundry basket in each bedroom closet, crock pots for cooking while touring, wood for the firepit and fireplaces and a beautiful lawn to play on. This is our dream home and we look forward to sharing it with you.
Why the Owner Chose West Yellowstone
We have been coming to this area since our children were little. We love it, and finally decided that we wanted something permanant. It has been a true labor of love...a family project..and a place that our children and now grandchildren love to come.
