Jayhawk Nest is a two bedroom, two bath waterfront home with a spectacular water view of the Sea of Abaco and Dalia's Island. The house sits on one acre of private property high above the water. A five minute walk takes you to the ocean beaches and a ten minute walk introduces you to the friendly settlement.
Enjoy the wonderful sunsets while sipping your tropical drink. Enjoy the view from throughout the house, screened porch or deck. Keep your boat at our private protected dock or swim or snorkel in the clear water of the Sea of Abaco.

We just returned from a week on Guana Cay, staying at Jayhawk Nest and we had a blast! The home is meticulously maintained and the best equipped home we have rented. The owners were wonderful to deal with answering our questions honestly and offering very helpful suggestions that enhanced our visit from travel suggestions to local happenings we might want to experience. The home has a beautiful view of the Sea of Abaco and we spent alot of time on the deck with family and friends just relaxing, grilling out and watching the sunsets. We rented a boat for the week as the other cays are not far and the snorkeling is awesome in surrounding waters. The dock was a huge plus since our boat was right there and we also snorkeled and fished off the dock. The home is perfect for 4 adults or family of 4 and was very comfortable. We had everything we needed from beach towells and coolers to first aid supplies and cooking and grilling utensils. We spent time at Nippers and Grabbers, visited Bakers Bay for lunch and Orchird Bay for some pool and cocktail time. Everything is 5-10 minutes away or less, and traveling by golf cart was alot of fun. I would highly recommend Jayhawk Nest to anyone traveling to the Abacos and Guana Cay. We hope to be able to return soon and would definitely rent Jayhawk Nest again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We have been visiting Guana for the last 10 years, the past 5 years we have stayed at a quaint secluded bay which we have dearly loved. Long story short we were unable to stay at the same location and found Jayhawk's Nest. With some trepidation we decided to choose this property, I must say we were pleasantly surprised and over joyed with our decision. The view was superb, the house was not only immaculate and tastefully decorated, the owner's have done an excellent job in equipping the house from the kitchen supplies down to first aid supplies if needed. The new deck was awesome to look out over beautiful Fisher's Bay and the pier was easily accessible and well maintained. The location of the property is near the settlement which makes an easy walk. The owner's were extremely helpful and very accommodating. We loved it so much we were hoping to go back in July, however we will be returning next year to the same house. I would highly recommend this rental on Guana for a great vacation!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed here for a week in August '09. Owners were great to deal with answering questions and giving any information that they had. House has beautiful views in all directions. Perfect for 2 couples or family. Dock is at the bottom of the hill and can easily accomodate boats up to 40'. Great location on the island as it is a 5 minute walk to Grabbers and the beach and 10 minutes to Nippers. You wont regret it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
