Hang up your fishing waders, relax in the rocking chairs, enjoy a cool drink and listen to the 'river music' drifting across the meadow... and just feel everything slow down.
Cameron Bridge Retreat on the Gallatin River is a perfect destination for you in Montana! An extraordinary vacation home with a welcoming atmosphere that will penetrate your senses. You'll have a hard time leaving when the time comes.
The exquisite log home is located on 10 acres. It boasts five separate sleeping areas accommodating up to 12 people (two lofts, two bedrooms and a bunk room), four full baths each with tiled bath or shower, a large living room, study/TV room, and a kitchen wing that has a dining table that can seat 8-12 people -- a total of over 3200 square feet. Have a really large group? We can accommodate up to 6 more people in the summer months in our 'Bunk House.'
The home is spacious and well cared for. Two wood stoves create a true cabin ambiance. The wood floors, fine furniture, tasteful artwork, abundance of windows, fine linens and bedding, attractive dinnerware, and thoughtful details throughout -- all come together to embody the essence of comfort and quality.
Since the property is located beside the West Gallatin River you'll have no worries about getting time to fish to your heart's content. The nicely landscaped yard and large deck look out over the expansive horizon of the open field and Cottonwood forests, culminating a mountain filled horizon.
Six wood rocking chairs grace the covered porch -- a favorite spot to unwind and take it all in. The private hot tub is another highlight. It's simply unforgettable to sit in the hot tub and listen to the river, all while watching a sky full of stars dance overhead. State Land borders the river to the east and provides even a more expansive feel to the property as well as a place to take an evoking stroll.
Despite this unique property's private and pastoral setting, it is only one and half miles to the nearest full service grocery store and is just five miles to the airport. You'll be amazed when you get off the plane and find yourself settling into your new home-away-from-home so quickly. Bozeman is a 10-15 minute drive to the east and Big Sky is about one hour south.
Cameron Bridge Retreat will fulfill your expectations of a spacious and well maintained vacation home that maintains a personal, cozy and comfortable feeling. There's a certain warmth and beauty that characterizes the home. It's perfect for a romantic get-away, a family vacation, a family reunion, a group of friends or fishing buddies, and of course -- for anyone seeking respite from the hustle and bustle. Retreat to our home, we love sharing it with you.

This is an awesome house. Hard to believe that it is rented out - so many personal trinkets, from the Adirondack Fisherman's Club lamp to the closet full of games. So peaceful and yet close to all you need. My ONLY caveats: -Don't leave your shoes outside (this is wildlife country after all) -Bring your own martini glasses and shaker - EVERYTHING else is provided en masse. I just hope that I will have another opportunity to come to this marvel. Thanks so very much, Mary.Owner response: Thank you Ulrich! I hope everyone enjoys our property as much as you have, and that all can appreciate the great lengths we go to make it a comfortable home with every detail attended to. We certainly strive to be the brightest star in this land of Big Sky country! And just so you know, we recently posted a bounty on any shoe-taking wildlife thieves so I trust this Wild West West will yet be tamed some day... till then, best to keep your shoes inside! Fondly, Mary Sadowski

we rented this home for family traveling to bozeman for a wedding. an added plus is that the home was only 1.5 miles from the bride's home and the wedding site. huge space; everyone could get away and find a quiet spot if they wanted. having the bunkhouse available let the groom have some space and time to himself. mornings had everyone gathering on the porch on the rocking chairs planning the day. there were 12 of us ranging from 11 to 79 and 3 dogs. there was something for everyone. the guys enjoyed the fishing that was just steps away. we've used VRBO before but i've never seen a better stocked kitchen - condiments in the fridge and spices that were available. we've always been asked to clean out the fridge and throw perfectly good food away before - not here. the freezer had some remaining huckleberry ice cream when we arrive and some rocky road when we left. we'd come back in a heartbeat. mary and her team made our wedding week a great one and everyone left having a great time at cameron bridge retreat.Did you find this review helpful? Want to know how to have a fantastic time in Montana? Attend a wedding in the mountains outside of Bozeman, surround yourself with people you love, and stay together in a fantastic log home. Without exaggeration, our recent stay in Montana was the best family reunion ever, due in large part to the Cameron Bridge Retreat. Everything we read about it was true; accessible yet private location, the Gallatin River running by, wildlife on the property, beautiful meadow view, grassy yard to play on, etc. The very best part was the beautiful log home; plenty of space for everyone, comfortable bedrooms and beds, lots of windows with great views and cool breezes, the world’s most perfect porch for morning coffee, private bathrooms with plenty of hot water, plenty of soft furniture to lounge around or take a nap, a cozy kitchen that was fully outfitted. I could go on and on. This amazing retreat offered us time to spend with each other in a very comfortable setting that encouraged you to feel at home. We ALL hope to come back to Cameron Bridge Retreat and visit more of your great state. Bravo to Mary and her staff!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I luckily found Cameron Bridge Retreat and booked this amazing place for our family reunion! We were all so impressed with this vacation home!!! It is very well cared for and has a personal homey feeling that immediately makes you relax and feel comfortable. The setting is perfect and private and we loved having such awesome quick access to the river for fishing. The home has many great features for outdoor gatherings: hot tub, deck with rocking chairs, firepit, nice sized gas grill and plenty of seating. We really enjoyed just hanging out!! And all the beds, linens, kitchenware and other details were of impressive quality -- and the home is so spacious -- what more could we have asked for? We'll be back!Owner response: Thanks for the great feedback! So glad you enjoyed our home. We take pride in making everything go as smoothly as possible and believe that the attention to details is well worth the time and effort! We look forward to your return! Spread the word!
