Located on private 2.5 acre estate property, you’ll enjoy the peace and solitude of this exclusive home, accessed through private and gated drive. This 3 bedroom home is available on a limited basis for the few who want the best. Set on a bluff overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean. Spot whales, albatross, or dolphins from the living area, bedroom, decks, or view the mountains behind you. Enjoy an inspiring panoramic view, including Bali Hai.
Large pool (18’ x 40’) and Jacuzzi with waterfall overlook the ocean and mountains. Two covered outdoor lanais offer shelter from the sun while still enjoying the world class views and sunsets.
Main home: Offers open and spacious great room with wrap around lanai offering fantastic ocean and mountain views. Extra large master bedroom with king bed, includes sitting and office area, and large master bath where you can relax in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the inspiring panoramic mountain views.
Second bedroom offers a king bed and full bath. Both bedrooms have ocean and mountain views and private access to wrap around lanai.
Lower level has ½ bath and laundry room.
Detached third bedroom with lounge area, king bed; large full shower bath and outdoor poolside shower.
Nicely furnished with teak and island style furniture, one fully equipped kitchen and two outdoor gas grills, full laundry facilities, and the latest in flat panel entertainment systems with DVR, including free wireless/DSL service, and free local and U.S. long distance calling. Although not needed due to our temperate climate, ceiling fans, and tropical trade winds, there are A/C units for the main master bedroom and poolside lounge area.
Ideally located between Kalihiwai and Secret beaches, it’s a short walk or drive to each.

Why the Owner Chose Kalihiwai
We loved this location because of its privacy and beautifully landscaped grounds and views.
Also because we can access all of the North shore beaches within minutes. Our favorite beach is Secret Beach which is accessed right off our same road - Kalihiwai.
We are not too far from Kapaa and Lihue (airport and main town) either, 30-45 minutes.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We mostly enjoy the views and the privacy. We love watching the whales and the albatross in season. Our daughter and her friends (as well as ourselves) have hours of fun enjoying the pool and spa.

We decided to purchase this home within hours of first visiting Kauai.
The ocean and mountain views, plus the privacy, were breathtaking, unlike anything we'd found before. We built the pool and spa, added landscaping and rock walls, and remodeled the kitchen and baths.
We enjoy this home ourselves as much as possible, living between here and Ohio which is where we are from. Since it is our home, we take special care with upkeep and maintenance and are intimately familiar with all of its features and amenities.

Most Ideal Hawaii vacation experience in 35 years! The luxurious house and furnishings, panoramic views, location and privacy, pool and hot tub, beach toys, pool toys, and other amenities made Mia Huna a destination paradise. We had a hard time leaving the property for other activities, in fact someone was on the property nearly all times during our 2 weeks. Our ages range from 2 1/2 to 67 and it was ideal for everyone. The beds were exceptional. Free phone anywhere in the US, wifi, 3 large HD TV's with cable and movies, great games and books (two bookcases full of childrens books and one for adults). The wrap-around lanai's were a welcomed respite from occassional cloud bursts and a great gathering place for spectacular sunrises with your morning coffee or wine and island drinks at sunset. We had a hard time leaving but know Mia Huna is exactly where we want to stay during our future vacations to Kauai.

Mia Huna is an oasis of luxury. The two homes on one site are perfect for any vacationer wanting to get away from it all alone or with family. The grounds, pool, jacuzzi, location and amenitites are outstanding. The view is like no other on the island, mountains, ocean, and beach sights are all in view from the wrap around porch. It is hard to leave this very special retreat even to explore the island. A true destination and paradise not to be missed. You will not be disappointed! Perfect location, spotless, helpful host, they have everything you need. Bring your suit and shades and RELAX!

Mahalo many times over for affording our family such a wonderful vacation at your Mia Huna Estate. The house and grounds enveloped us with its beauty, warmth and Hawaiian charm, and, Brook, your property manager, made us feel so welcome. The grounds afforded us a field for our family 'frisbee golf" tournaments, the estate's location gave our family "athlete's" several sites to hike or run to, ie, Secret Beach, Kalihiwai Beach, and Kilauea, and the saltwater pool and jacuzzi was always there to embrace us after our adventures. The ocean views, seen from nearly everywhere on the estate, were gorgeous! Mia Huna is definitely the place to be, and, 2011 will find us returning. Mahalo!!!!!
