  Loved the condo! Great for our little dog. This is probably the fourth or fifth year we have visited! Hope to go back in 2013!

  Just returned from 2 weeks at the Drayton House.. We have been travelling to Myrtle Beach for several years and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed.. Much bigger than the pictures, clean, very comfortable with a wonderful porch (we called it our veranda) with a swing, rocking chairs and high chairs and table.. We miss having our coffee outside every morning.. A big bonus was being pet friendly and we were able to bring our dog.. She loved laying in the sun and walking on the beach.. The entire area is very clean. There are even bags on the poles along the sidewalk for pet cleanup. The beach is a very short walk across the street and also very clean and absolutely beautiful.. Also, there is a small park that is well kept between the street and the beach. The weather was great.. Barbara was very accomodating with a few minor problems.. We have already booked for the same time next year..

  My family and I knew the location well as we have stayed the last 8 years two doors down from Drayton House. I always admired the "look" of the property as we passed by. Well, this year we stayed here and have already booked for next year. The location, the size of Barbara's condo and the fact my 13 yr old chihuahua got to go was wonderful. It was a very nice unit. It was enough room that we did not run into each other. The balcony was a very welcomed spacious spot. Barabra was very nice to work with and made the "first" time of we hope many more trips a very helpful experience.

  My first reaction to walking into the condo was that it was spacious and very welcoming. I had some issues but the owner was very receptive of my concerns and I felt at ease the whole time knowing she was available to answer any question I had. There were 10 of us and we never felt cramped. It was very comfortable because with all the enjoyments of home. The ocean front balcony was perfect. We didnt have the warmest weather but we did enjoy the breeze and views sitting out there. The downfalls are that it isnt very childproof. We had small children and we had to move all the little knick kancks out of reach. Also it is a pet friendly environment so some of our group suffered from allergies but ti wasnt overwhelming for them. Overall it was clean and well kept for an older property. But you just cant beat the location. Across the street is a park and then the beach.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, tourists without a car.

  We stayed here April 28,2012-May 5,2012. The Drayton House was such a great family place to stay ! Everyone loved it .It is in a great location. Nice and quiet. Our 5 year old grandson enjoyed the playground across the street. We loved the front porch and enjoyed a lot of coffee from there. The condo has all you need for a great vacation and is well maintained. We had great weather all week, in the 80's. We will defineity stay there again. Can't wait till next year!!!

  The condo is larger than it appears in the photos and the access to the ocean makes this home the perfect vacation. We loved our week at Drayton House and hope we can become yearly regulars. Working with Barbara was wonderful. This was the first time we vacationed with our dog. Although she didn't like walking on near the ocean, she was very relaxed in the condo. The word 'condo' doesn't do it justice, it really is a 'home'. We'll see you again soon!!

  This was our 2nd year at the Drayton House and the stay was just as good as the first one. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. It's great having space and not being crammed.

  As we have stayed in this condo many times on our vacations at Mrytle Beach, we are now calling it our home away from home. It truly has all of the comforts of home, and with a wonderful ocean view, what more could we ask for. On this visit, my husband and I took our sons and their families plus my parents...8 adults, 4 little boys, and 2 teenagers in all. This spacious condo was great even for a family as large as ours. On most visits, we are practically the only people in the pool. This year we had to share it with a few others, but it was never over crowded and the boys were able to play freely without us being concerned about them getting lost in the crowd. I can't say enough good things about the owner. She really makes sure that you have everything needed to assure comfort while there. We look forward to our next visit and encourage you to check out this unit for yourself if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, economical, almost home experience while on vacation at Myrtle Beach. Thanks for sharing your condo with us!

  My family has stayed at Drayton House the past 4 years. The last 2 years in this same condo on the first floor. The place is always neat and clean.Excellent location to the beach, just across the road, which is very low cars per day.Not very far from shopping centers , good restaurants and golf courses.The beaches are not crowded in this area and can be seen from balcony. I have already made my reservations for 2012.
