If you want a great vacation on a beautiful pristine, pink sandy beach with very friendly people, then St. Georges’s Cay, Spanish Wells, Bahamas is the vacation for you. The island is two miles long and one-half mile wide. The beaches are very private and you can walk almost the full two miles and never pass anyone. The beach is great for shelling and one of my most favorite things to do. The flats are known for their bone fishing. Spanish Wells also has great snorkeling. For an additional fee A-1, a colorful fishing guide and pilot, will take you on his fishing boat and if you do not catch anything, there is no cost, but everyone does.
Should you want to visit Harbour Island, the fast ferry will take you there for the day. You can rent a golf cart or walk around the island. They have fine dining and great shops. The islands are English-speaking and the Bahamian Dollar is equal to the American Dollar.
"Sea Catch Cottage", decorated in bright sunny colors is family-friendly. We are dedicated to giving you the best vacation for your money. From the kitchen window you can see the beach. We have two bicycles that will take you to the beach in less than two minutes. If you prefer to walk, it is less than a five-minute stroll. The grocery store, and bakery is also only five minutes away. The grocery store will deliver your groceries for free. There are great places to eat and the costs are very reasonable. We have provided a wagon, which will carry two small children to the beach, or simply use it to carry your gear. The back yard provides you with chairs to lounge in and a barbeque to grill your catch of the day.
