We have been going to Destin now for several years. We always stay at Silver Shells. It is one of the greatest resorts. We have great friends and families that own here. The condo is one of the best. It is so clean, neat, and it comes with all the amenities anyone would ever need. It is so nice getting up early, grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on the balcony as the sun comes up. We hope to stay here again soon. It is definitely our most loved USA beach/resort. The owners are great people and very nice to deal with on all matters. Thanks again!!

Condo and resort is great!! We had a great time spending our time on the beach and the pools. Great for late fall travel, as there is a heated indoor pool. Fast response from owners. Would stay here again!

We had a great stay at St. Lucia/Silver Sands! The unit was extraordinary! Very spacious, (the 3 BR/3BA was awesome, no one waiting for bath time, plenty of HOT water, EXTRA CLEAN & NICE! , very convenient to Wal-Mart for things you forgot and also to nice restaurants (walk to Ruth Chris) Lot’s of things for the kids to do within minutes away. And the best part was the BEACH! PERFECT UNIT AND LOCATION IN EVERY WAY. We got a quick return on our security deposit, very accommodating and friendly owners. My wife and I would highly recommend this rental! ENJOY Destin!

We have stayed at Silver Shells for the past three years. Silver Shells is centrally located and offers a place for a relaxing vacation. The unit we stayed at is located on the south end of the St Lucia building and offers breathtaking views of the pool areas and the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is well maintained and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. I would recommend this property and unit for your next vacation.

We have been visiting Destin for thirteen years and we look forward to our family vacation every July. This year was no exception. We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The third floor location overlooking the private pool and hot tub at St. Lucia was an added treat. The unit was very well maintained and comfortable. The three bedroom layout was perfect. We would definitely recommend this listing to anyone and hope that we can stay here again next summer.

We stayed in this condo for a week from 4/23/11 to 4/30/11. The unit is very appealing, clean and modern. Beutiful color schemes, gorgeous kitchen with nice appliances, beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds and again, everything was immaculate. The layout of the unit was excellent. We had five of us in the unit, my wife and I with our 22 year old daughter and we had our 17 year old son and one of his friends. The kids shared the bedroom with 2 twin beds, my daughter took the room with the queen and my wife and I stayed in the master. This worked out very nicely and we all had plenty of privacy. Every bedroom had its own balcony and each bedroom had a full bathroom. The ammenities outside of the unit were excellent. The beach was beautiful and it was nice to have the bar on the beach which offered snacks. The main pool area was uncroweded and there was plenty of chairs to go around. The location of Silver Sands was excellent and within a few minutes to shopping, dining and other attractions. Kathy was fantastic to work with. I will rent this again next year. You will not go wrong with this unit.

This was a very beautiful condo located in a great area of Destin. The condo is large and spacious and has wonderful balconies off of all bedrooms and living room areas. It is conveniently located close to all of the amenities of the Silver Shells resort as well as the beach. Highly recommend and loved our stay. We can't wait to go back! Thanks so much.

We recently stayed for five nights at the Heetland's home away from home, we will definately be back! We loved the layout of the condo, perfect for a family with teens witht he split bedroom layout. Kathy was great to work and answered all of my questions about Destin, Silver Shells and their condo. Silver Shells was a great resort with lots of ammenities. We loved the Tiki Bar, if you didn't want to carry drinks/snacks to the beech you could get what you needed there. The beech was great, no oil! We stayed the week with 8 other families spread between three buildings, our condo was one of the best. We had the perfect ending to our trip when on our last night we grilled out and relaxed on the patio of St. Lucia with all 50+ of us, it was perfect.

Just what I wanted...this condo was lovely! It overlooked the St. Lucia pool but was not too close as to keep the noise at a minimum and the Gulf was in view, as well. This end of the building is where you want to be...I love the Silver Shells property and have stayed here over the past 7 to 8 years. If you prefer not to be over the acre sized main pool and its frenetic comings and goings during the summer, this is the condo for you! No real problems with oil during my stay. Silver Shells Management was the first to build a berm to keep any oil off of main beach with a line of private contractor umbrellas atop this raised area. They are proactive and ready!!! Go to Destin...there is still time to enjoy the beach and Gulf water with many other attractions off site! The rental contract was professionally handled with ease and the security deposit was refunded within 24 hours of my stay. Thank You!

This condo is beautifully decorated and designed. We liked the keyless door entry, our own covered parking spot, and all of the room this condo offers. It is very close to shopping centers and grocery stores. You can even walk to many places. The photos are accurate, it is super clean and new, and the owner is very helpful in answering questions and solving problems if they arise. We would recommend this condo to friends and relatives. AND it is walking distance from the beach! We really enjoyed our stay the second week of March 2010.

Myself and 4 of my friends stayed at this unit and it was perfect! Extremely nice unit, by far the nicest condo I've ever stayed in. The property has several pools and hot tubs and was perfect for our stay. We had a great time and are already planning our next trip to stay in the same unit!

St. Lucia #301 is a great unit. Having the three bathrooms was a real plus. The unit is very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. I liked being able to walk down one flight of steps to be outside and not have to use the elevator. The Heetlands could not have been easier and nicer to deal with for the whole transaction. We also liked being able to look out and see the private pool and hot tub at St. Lucia. We would highly recommend this unit and working with the Heetlands.

We just got home from our vacation in Destin. Silver Shells is a great place to stay. The pool area is awesome. If you like to work out, their facility is one of the best I've seen. We also enjoyed the tennis courts, and my son and his friends enjoyed the basketball court. The Heetlands with St. Lucia unit #301 are a pleasure to deal with. Both Kathy and Craig communicated with me several times. They were great to do business with. We loved the unit, and especailly liked the new door locking system they have just installed. Much more convenient than having to keep up with key cards at the beach!!! The unit is very spacious and the guys LOVED the big screen HDTV in the living room. Very nice unit. Thanks Kathy and Craig for woderful accomodations!

This was our first trip to Destin and the condo was a definite highlight. The building was first class with a terrific fitness center and pool. We were impressed with the size of the condo and how immaculate the place was kept. We recommend this unit for anyone who wants first class accommodations.

Well I certainly made the right choice with this one! St. Lucia #301!! Yes indeed...is the place to stay. We were two families (seven total) and each and everyone was pleased with this condo. Everything from the condo itself and all it had to offer to the Silver Shells grounds and all their amenities.....OUTSTANDING! The location is perfect and since this was our first trip to Destin we wanted to be right in the middle of everything...and we were! We didn't miss a thing! It was an absolute pleasure talking to Kathy when I was trying to decide then making the final arrangements. She answered all my questions and was definitely a very gracious "host". If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Destin, you've found it! St. Lucia's Unit 301 in beautiful Silver Shells Beach Resort has it all. Gorgeous interior, from furnishings to luxury bathrooms and kithchen. Easy access to pools and beach. Fantastic parking spot. It was the perfect vacation.We highly recommend Unit 301!

This was the second year in a row we stayed in Silver Shells. The Heetlands place in St. Lucia was awesome! Very roomy, decorated nicely and good location. Not to mention that dealing with both Kathy and Craig was a very pleasant experience. Our family will definitely stay in their condo again the next time we come to Destin!!! Great job!!!!
