This condominium has been remodeled and redecorated with authentic tropical-style Hawaiian furniture and art. You can hear and see the ocean from the living areas and the lanai. The view and sound is just mesmerizing.You can hear the ocean as the waves are rolling into shore, reminding you that you have arrived!
We also have a private snorkeling area located here at the resort as well as one of the largest pools. The gardens throughout this small nature friendly complex are the most beautiful and well maintained as well. And if you are looking forward to dining at an exclusive one of a kind setting with the most incredible views and atmosphere, then we suggest dining on your own romantic lanai.
The tiki torches are lit up as the sun goes down and there is no better place to be than in your own private paradise. During whale season this home has the advantages of optimal views of the whales as well as the islands of Molokai and Lanai.
If you enjoy local tropical produce and like to walk, the farmers market is not far away and is across from a beach park. We stayed at Margie's condo for two weeks with our two daughters aged 3 and 1. We had a great time! This condo is very well cared for and has everything you need. This was our 2nd visit to Maui. We stayed in a condo up the road 3 years earlier and it didn't even compare to Margie's. It was great not to have to travel with a playpen for our baby. The playpen in the condo was like brand new and very clean. Our older daughter loved all the kids movies that Margie had available. We loved having the washer and dryer and really appreciated having soap already there. The view from the lanai was amazing. We watched whales out front every day and took some amazing photos. It was wonderful to be able to just walk out the patio door onto the grass or to go down to the beach. Anything you could possibly need is a short drive away and there are many amazing beaches close by. Margie was wonderful to rent from and was always available for any questions we had. When we return to Maui we will try to stay here again. Thank you Margie for the most amazing vacation, we can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo has the best view on the island! I loved sitting on the grass outside of our sliding door watching the spectacular sunsets. At night when the tiki torches are lit, it is romantic and fun to barbecue on the grills right outside the condo. During the day , you can swim, snorkel, or just relax on the grass area with a good book. Margie supplies bird seed and I loved feeding the Java Sparrows right outside our door! I can't wait to return! Everything was perfect!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was my 4th trip back to Maui and 1st time at this condo. I absolutely loved staying at Marge's place. We were we able to watch the whales literally from the lanai. One morning we even saw a baby whale come into this world! Amazing. The other great things about this condo are that she has thought to provide snorkeling equipment, beach towels, a welcome bottle of wine and spices beyond salt and pepper! We even ended up enjoying a Bar-B-Que with other quests staying in the same complex using the community grills. I will definitely be going back there and have told all my friends and family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Margie, We had a wonderful time at your condo. Everything was perfect and we had absolutely everything we needed. It was so great not to have to buy the little things like a spice or mustard etc. I think you have covered all the bases very well. Your condo was very comfortable and I would stay in it again in a New York minute. We aren't sure when we will return but I will let you know in plenty of time so that hopefully we can stay in your place again. Next time we would like to stay for 2 weeks. That will give you an idea how great it was. Thanks again for providing us with such a perfect place to be. Well, we are now home again, after another wonderful visit ot Kahana, Maui. We had a wonderful, relaxing, yet exiting trip. We try to visit Maui during Whale season, as we have all the benefits of being there, with the "extras" of the Whales. Upon arrival, less than one hour, relaxing on the Lanai, the whales were breaching, straight out to sea. Margie provides a huge pair of Binocs, mounted on a tripod, but every day, having our morning coffee, or evening meal, the naked eye can see Mama Whales, many times with Babies, jumping, breaching, or just surfacing to breathe. We stay at Kuleana every year, and we were very happy to be able to book Margies' place, once again. Very well appointed, squeaky clean, everything provided, that most visitors have to rent...snorkel equip, boogie boards, flotation for the pool or ocean, folding chairs, ice chests, EVERYTHING! Seriously, if you are considering a visit to Maui, search no more. If you are lucky enough to find available space at Unit #705, grab it. You will not be sorry. We love to visit the many great local restaurants, but also enjoy using the BBQ's, as we prefer to be on the Lanai for the incredible Sunsets. Small complex, very quiet, beautiful grounds, yet only 6 miles from Lahaina, and one mile up the road to an excellant full service market. Sheesh, how do you beat this??? Margie provided excellent details regarding what to expect on day of arrival. Everything during check-in was superb and as expected! She has rented this condo to many travelers and has more than enough experience at being the best host with the greatest hospitality! Everything you need is in the condo - even aloe vera gel for those sunburns. Condo is a good size for 2 adults and maybe 1 kid. Might be a bit crowded for more than 2 adults. Awesome location - walking distance to local grocery store although the drive is easy and there is plenty of parking. Not far from Lahaina (drive away). Kaanapali beach and Napili beach are the best spots and recommend doing the Kapalua Coastal Hike and cliff jump (near ritz carlton). Great sunset views along with lots of turtles right in your frontyard. Owner was always available by phone or e-mail. No problems with the condo amenities occured during our 5 nt stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 6 days for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The location is ideal and close to Lahaina (a 10 minute drive). You can take 5 steps out of the condo and be on the beach or just relax on the lanai and watch the beautiful sunset. We couldn't have asked for better. The only warning I would give to future renters is that the bed is extremely soft. I personally loved it as I usually sleep on a soft mattress but for those who like to sleep on a very hard mattress you won't get that here. The kitchen is fully equiped and it even comes with 3 coolers of different sizes if you ever want to bring one on an excursion. I really couldn't have asked for better!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

When my guests leave most times I follow up with their experience a few weeks later. When considering the new matress I went with the majority comments and purchase a softer matress. Speechless was our reaction upon arriving at Marge's condo in Kanaapali. Although I read the reviews and spoke to the owner, all of which assured us the condo and location were pererfect, actually being there took our breath away. The condo had more ammenities than our own home making it one of the reasons it was so difficult to return home.There was nothing needed or wanted.The kitchen and bathroom were completely (shall I say over-stocked) with the obvous supplies including a first-aid kit which proved very useful when my younger son cut his foot on some sharp rocks. We were able to open the sliding glass door off the patio and take a few steps to the water. The condo owner supplies snorking gear and boogie boards as well as beach towels. Get this, also provided is bird seed! You can sit at the patio table and toss seed out to the birds walking along the flower beds. The only dissapointment we faced was the day we had to pack up and fly home. Everything was perfect!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This was our first time in Hawaii and we were traveling with our 9 month old, and staying at this condo made it all so easy! The condo is just as described and the proximity to the ocean could not be better. This unit is located toward the end of the condo development so I feel like it was more private and quiet than most, and was literally steps to the beach. The place was stocked with everything imaginable, from all the kitchen goodies which made cooking at home a breeze, and all the beach equipment which made a day on the beach so much more comfortable. The location in Maui was also perfect for us, peaceful and quiet, away from all the high rises and tourists, but we could still walk to the farmer's market/grocery/coffee shop, and a short drive to other beaches/activities. And the owner was very helpful with directions and recommendations before our trip out there. One thing I'll mention to other travelers with babies, it was a huge plus having an umbrella stroller and pack 'n play at the condo and being on the ground floor. But bring a travel high chair/clip on seat and portable playpen/padded mat for playing on the floor - the kitchen counter/bar-stools and tiled floor were not super conducive to feeding/playing for not yet sturdy little ones. Certainly not the condo's fault, just my lack of planning on those fronts :) Thanks Margie, I'm sure we will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I joined some friends at Margie's.We had a lovely time. The condo is so comfortable and user friendly. We enjoyed breakfast at our leisure, watching the sun come up over the mountains behind the condo. Sunsets were spectacular from the sloping lawns off the lanai. The bathroom is renovated and easliy entered without having to climb into the tub. We could walk safely along the road in either direction to get our exercise! There is a health food store and small restaurants within walking distance. Margie provided snorkel and swimming equipment to enjoy both the ocean and pool. Definitely someplace we will enjoy in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
