This 2 bedroom beach house with a separate bunk house, which sleeps 3, is fully equipped with everything you will need for your PEI vacation. The only thing you have to purchase is your food. This captivating area with its stretches of long white sandy beaches, dune systems, and rugged shorelines are hard to resist. Imagine, walking for miles on long white pristine sand beaches or rugged terrain as far as your eyes can see and not meet a soul. There are 32 beaches is the eastern region for your to enjoy. Along with 7 golf courses and 333 species of birds. As you tour this region the history, culture, and natural beauty will enchant you. If you are an early bird you can relax on the deck outside the master bedroom with a coffee and listen to the sound of the birds and waves. Walk miles along the cliffs edge or along the shore, either way it will be an experience you will never forget. As your day continues explore to the east or west and you will find sandy beaches, rugged shoreline, sea glass and seals, or a bald eagle soaring for your enjoyment.

If you are looking for a retreat ... away from all the hustle and bustle of the life you are trying so hard to get away from .... then this is the place for you ! The red cliffs and the sound of the surf gives you the peace you have been looking for. Climb down the cliff, which is just seconds away from the cottage, and a whole new world opens up to you ! Walk East about 1.3 km and you will find a sandy beach all to yourself ... the only way to get there is to walk the rocks. If you don't feel like walking then just climb down onto the red rocks and look for sea glass and all kinds of interesting rocks and stones. The Ocean will give you such a show during the days and evenings it decides to come crashing to shore ... breathtaking is all I can say. The cottage is GORGEOUS inside and you certainly lack for NOTHING once you arrive ! The bed is so comfortable and you can either sit in bed and look at the Ocean or you can sit on the deck off the bedroom and watch and listen to the Ocean. Pat, who looks after the place for Mary and Derrick looked after us like an old mother hen ... she was great ! When you need groceries you just drive 10 minutes down the road to Souris and there you will find the same stock of what you would have in your own town or city ... except the people are much more friendly. There is a drug store as well as a small 16 bed hospital ! Don't just take my word for it ... you MUST ... visit Champagne Vista ... in fact when we arrived there was a cold bottle of Champagne waiting for us ... so true to the name ! Once again ... thanks so much to you Mary and Derrick for opening up your home and allowing us to make your home our home away from home for the month ... Marie & TedRecommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
