Enjoy the tropical yard with palms and blooming hibiscus trees, huge shaded deck, hammock, and private hot tub. Have fun at the gorgeous beaches and bay nearby. Beach chairs, and beach towels included!
For your convenience, the cottage has a private entrance gate and parking directly behind the unit.
Only minutes away from the Gaslamp Quarter for fun downtown nightlife, less than five minutes away from Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. This awesome central location is close to it all! Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
Originally the cottage was built to host our family and friends (along with an occasional exchange student). We have stayed in many vrbo properties and have enjoyed hosting guests for the last 5 years. Many we consider friends as they return to the cottage every year to enjoy the beautiful weather and all San Diego has to offer. We live in the front house on the property. Our neighborhood is safe and quiet yet freeway close, as well as a short drive to the beach and bay. We occasionally walk to both since the beach is approximately 3/4 of a mile and the bay is closer.
The cottage, yard and hot tub are meticulously maintained. All of the furnishings and linens were picked out especially for the cottage-no second hand castoffs! We're proud of our property and hope you will enjoy a stay with us!
Why the Owner Chose Point Loma
We have lived in several homes in this area. We love the central location of Point Loma. We're close to downtown, the beaches, minutes from Mission Valley and there is plenty of shopping nearby. We chose this home carefully because although we are a short 5 minute ride from the airport, we are not under the flight path and enjoy a peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Our guest cottage is cozy and comfortable. You can enjoy lazing in the hammock or relaxing in the hot tub. Although we live in the main house, the large deck separating the house and cottage as well as the separate parking spot and entrance, mean we don't often see guests coming and going for days at a time. However, we are always happy to give ideas for great dining choices and local fun spots.
